I'd bet Real will win with a little help from the refs, as it has been happening, nothing too blatant, but mostly they seem to be allowed to commit lots of fouls, and not get yellow cards. In Donnaruma's fail, Benzema clearly tackled him, no VAR check whatsoever. In the 2nd leg against City, Casemiro should have had 2 yellow cards in the first half, neither was called. I'm not saying they will get a free penalty or something too flagrant, but just allowing more fouls and not calling cards is enough to tilt the scales in these types of games. Let's hope Liverpool win, they are a better team and win more honestly, from a neutral perspective as I'm not english nor spanish.

In my opinion, I think that Liverpool would've rather faced City in the final because they have played them multiple times this season. They know how City play and know what to expect from them. Not taking anything away from the Real Madrid side, but Liverpool hate playing against team that take posession. Chelsea and City have so much quality in posession and control of the midfield that they at times can suplex the Liverpool backline. I think from a tactical perspective, Liverpool want to play posession and can play better posession than Real Madrid. I do question if Real Madrid will be tight to stop Mane from taking headers, and while Mendy can defend Salah 1v1 he can't stop Salah flair from inventing dangerous passes. He can always link up, or pass to Trent. Real Madrid need to be equally aggressive this game and fast to move posession for counters, Liverpool maul teams down for posession.

11:49 as Real follower I can safely say that, Casemiro is not great on the ball, at least not in the build up. Many of the loses for Real and all critical goals scored by Real's opposition this season have come bcoz of Casemiro giving the ball away cheaply in the build up. Without Kroos or Modric or some ball playing press resistant midfielder besides him, Casemiro has looked shaky in possession. But I do agree that he is good when in the opponent's box or nearby to create a goal chance for others or scores himself. But not further back, near the halfway line or near his own GK.
Are you really a Madrid fan? Casemiro is not bad on the ball at all. In fact he's got a lot of skill for a CDM. It's not uncommon to see him take the ball and dribble past two defenders or give dangerous through passes. Of course he's not Kaká, but he can most certainly play. I'm probably repeating this, but there have been a few goals at the start of the season where Casemiro was very shaky in possession in our own half and giving up possession cheaply directly leading to the opponent scoring. He got confidence as the season progressed but still has been a bit shaky all season long. Also, I never said bad anything about his ability to create or score goals. Read my comment again for clarity. He makes mistakes when Kroos or Modric or some ball playing, press resistant player is not besides him. He need such players to feel comfortable and play to his best.

Madrid will go with the 4-4-2 with Valverde helping Carvajal and CMK and using his undying stamina to attack and defend. More over, Valverde is the best out of the midfield at the moment. My starting lineup would be a 4-3-3 with Camavinga, Fede and Rodrygo starting (or Casemiro instead of Camavinga because solidity and experience and...) but maybe I would stick with the 4-4-2 because if the match is 1-0 for Liverpool or 2-0, having Kross and Casemiro as the ones who change something is definitely a not good scenario. I think real's right side is more balanced than Liverpool because valverde or rodrygo will track back and cover for carvajal while salah won't cover for Trent. so midfielder will be tucked to help Trent which will leave space in midfield where Benz thrives.

In my opinion, I think that Liverpool would've rather faced City in the final because they have played them multiple times this season. They know how City play and know what to expect from them. I think Liverpool would be terrified of playing Real Madrid because of the unpredictability of this squad. They know that you can be 2-0 up at the 90th minute and still lose somehow. That'll be playing on their minds I'm sure. All Madrid needs is HALF A CHANCE to punish you. Should be a fun final.

Not taking anything away from the Real Madrid side, but Liverpool hate playing against team that take posession. Chelsea and City have so much quality in posession and control of the midfield that they at times can suplex the Liverpool backline.
I think from a tactical perspective, Liverpool want to play posession and can play better posession than Real Madrid. I do question if Real Madrid will be tight to stop Mane from taking headers, and while Mendy can defend Salah 1v1 he can't stop Salah flair from inventing dangerous passes. He can always link up, or pass to Trent.
Real Madrid need to be equally aggressive this game and fast to move posession for counters, Liverpool maul teams down for posession.

Many of the loses for Real and all critical goals scored by Real's opposition this season have come bcoz of Casemiro giving the ball away cheaply in the build up. Without Kroos or Modric or some ball playing press resistant midfielder besides him, Casemiro has looked shaky in possession. But I do agree that he is good when in the opponent's box or nearby to create a goal chance for others or scores himself. But not further back, near the halfway line or near his own GK.
Tbh even tho casemiro was inconsistent this season against big teams he always stepped he never put a foot wrong and played a key part
Are you really a Madrid fan? Casemiro is not bad on the ball at all. In fact he's got a lot of skill for a CDM. It's not uncommon to see him take the ball and dribble past two defenders or give dangerous through passes. Of course he's not Kaká, but he can most certainly play. He's made some amazing assists and some amazing goals (he's a fantastic shooter from distance, has scored a bunch of screamers and even a bycicle kick goal) throughout his career.

I'm probably repeating this, but there have been a few goals at the start of the season where Casemiro was very shaky in possession in our own half and giving up possession cheaply directly leading to the opponent scoring. He got confidence as the season progressed but still has been a bit shaky all season long.
Also, I never said bad anything about his ability to create or score goals. Read my comment again for clarity.

Madrid will go with the 4-4-2 with Valverde helping Carvajal and CMK and using his undying stamina to attack and defend. More over, Valverde is the best out of the midfield at the moment.
My starting lineup would be a 4-3-3 with Camavinga, Fede and Rodrygo starting (or Casemiro instead of Camavinga because solidity and experience and...) but maybe I would stick with the 4-4-2 because if the match is 1-0 for Liverpool or 2-0, having Kross and Casemiro as the ones who change something is definitely a not good scenario. Rodrygo and Camavinga should be starters but Kross doesn't lose the ball, Casemiro is still a beast to cut and at this point of the competition we have seen that Camavinga and Rodrygo have the physicality to change the game and made possible those 15 minutes of perfection that Madrid needs.

From observation when luis diaz is playing trent doesnt need to push up as far up. He can put in crosses from literally anywhere with either feet. I think real's right side is more balanced than Liverpool because valverde or rodrygo will track back and cover for carvajal while salah won't cover for Trent. so midfielder will be tucked to help Trent which will leave space in midfield where Benz thrives.
