One of the Greatest Honors I have ever experienced, was singing in one of Billy Grahams Crusade Choirs, at the Cow Palace in San Francisco in the late 1950's , Pastor Graham's Sermon that evening was the Most Moving & Inspirational Sermon I have ever heard & he brought hundreds if not thousands to Christ that Evening!

While I sit under the teachings of my pastor, I still remember hearing Billy Graham preach on television when my Mom would listen to him. This man stayed true to the gospel, did not try to sugar coat it to make it acceptable. My first pastor Virgil Jones did exactly the same when I accepted Jesus as my personal savior in 1980. My current pastor Brian Anderson also follows suit, that the Bible is the infallible word of God! It is because of these men though not perfect, they stood for and stand for the Gospel just as it is written. Jesus Loves every single human being as we are, we do not have to change to ask Him into our hearts and accept that He lived a perfect sinless life, was crucified at the hands of the then Roman Government, then three days after bearing the sins of each person ever to walk on planet earth, He rose again ascending to heaven to sit at the right hand of God! This Jesus did this for us in love, took the punishment of our many sins upon himself so that we would not have to pay the price. This was the message that Billy Graham preached to millions around the world. Billy did not want attention or be awarded for his preaching of the gospel, his satisfaction in which I assume only, was seeing the millions that came forward and accepted Jesus Christ as their personal savior. A Humble man with such a simple message that children could understand it. Jesus modeled this as he walked the earth and shunned attention, always giving credit to God our Father. So Billy Graham merely followed Jesus example. Billy has won his race, and again I assume heard the words from Jesus "Well Done my faithful servant, enter into the kingdom of heaven!" Rest in Peace Billy Graham, sit and marvel at the Lord Jesus Christ and all that He has prepared for you! No matter what you have done, thought or said, Jesus Loves You and wants to be your savior, all that is required is to pray and ask his forgiveness of your sins, repent of those sins and ask Jesus to live with-in your heart for eternity, Jesus will do any changing He deems necessary, just let him guide your life! Goodbye my dear universal evangelist. The light of the Gospel entered the darkness of my soul when I was 17 years old. You arrived on a television screen on a hot Sunday in the summer of 1975. If it were not for your determination and determination to bring Christ to all corners of the world, I do not know what would have happened to me. Your good soul, integrates, frankly flew over and will continue to do so above all the egoisms of schools, and denominations. I read that they hit you right and left, they hit you because you did this or that. And just that criticism every day enlarges your legacy. They beat you because you did a lot or because you did little. Your soul was only faithful to Paul's command. Those who read the Gospel know what I mean. Companion and husband of an exemplary and almost unknown woman, Ruth Bell, she hides the mystery of your greatness and fidelity, women next to men like you are as immense as you. In March, the month in which I met you, I will be sixty years old, and I can only recognize that the sovereignty of God touches certain people to carry his cross. After Paul, the Lord saw that your back and your intellect were the ones who were going to carry the Gospel in the most forceful and simple way, as He liked it, without complications, but the world was great, the US had arrival in every corner and we had to take the opportunity. He chose you, beloved universal evangelist, and you arrived, you arrived with stadiums and with books, on radios or on television. With this last one you caught up with me. Now the 21st century Gospel know-it-all seems to find you flawed, or you talked to the wrong people, now it's very easy to criticize beloved Billy. But only your knees and Christ know the truth and the difficulties. You taught me to pray, you taught me to read the Gospel, you gave me the spiritual fuel that I did not have. When I read until I spent it "Dynamic of a new man", almost until I knew it by heart. You were the prophet sent from the twentieth century, indisputable, unique, unappealable, and like the fate of all the prophets, the stones have to come from your own evangelical "brothers", and often from your own US people. It did not stop you from being an evangelist, you were a prophet too, because you saw farther and farther than the poultry. You were an eagle who saw the situation in the world and the situation of the soul of an anonymous village boy. You know, Billy dear that my mother, left with the Lord on January 21, 2003, and you leave on February 21. I mean, who brought me to the biological life and then to the spiritual life started the same day in that same order. I do not believe in coincidences. It is for my soul a caress, and a perennial reminder to honor your person. Thank you! As a Dutchman I also thank God for Billy Graham. Praise God I invited Jesus in my heart 40years ago in Holland (Hilversum, where ev. Graham was seen on the big screen!). Wow; ONCE AND FOR ALL TIMES Jesus totally finished our sins 2000 years ago, Hebr 10:10,12,14,17 but also in 8:12,13, 9:12,14,15... 26,27,28, 10:17-2,22, 12:23, Kol2:13. He is NEVER NEVER NEVER angry again, that WAS in the OT, Halleluuujah! So HE Himself will never give tsunamis, sicknesses, storms to 'educate' or 'punish' us! Neverrr!
