As good a version (if not better) of "In Dulci Jubilo" that I've ever heard. You certainly gave Mike Oldfield's version (with multiple instruments) a run for it's money. If there were mistakes, I didn't detect them. I'm blown away by your mastery and talent, Thankyou.
Excellent. Really well played and great sounds. Guess you did backing yourself. I looked everywhere for a BT without any luck, so I just play along with Mike Oldfields original. Not the same but a fun song. Congratulations. Best regards, Geoff
ncie version a little long but a good extended vesion, have'nt played guitar for 35+yrs but always loved this song and have the original single (play loud haha) re occasional note/mistakes, it what makes us a better person, and being humble enough to admit it but still put it online, well done, I wish I was able to play anything like it.
i love this i am at the point of quitting my guitar lessons after 5 years because i didn't like it anymore. but this inspired me to go on and trying to get better
Well I'm delighted somebody else used my own version of it to cover it on the guitar. I think I may still have the audio files around someplace, I could remove the lead for you if you like.
This is a truly excellent performance! Well done :) Very well played and gread sound and video quality. I'm fed up of clicking on a video I'm looking for and presented with a video quality that suggests its been recorded on a mobile phone!! But not yours, bravo.
You are so talented :) I don't care about the mistakes, it's all about precision, attention to the details and you nailed it :) You sound like Mike and that's really amazing :) You are wonderful guitarist.
Only six mistakes that would bother someone, not me.... but not when played live... I seriously doubt Oldfield could do it in one take before a camera... Good work!
really wanted to learn the solo but only have 21 frets (strat) :( there are other tabs but I want this one,its accurate!!! great job by the way love it!!
I think that is amazing, it makes me want to get my acoustic out and play along. I just might, do you know where I can get the tablature for this? Sorry, I cant read music worth a damn
Nice one. Im learning this one with loads of rewinds of your vid, so if theres mistakes in there Im copying them. Sounds spot on to me though. Im struggling with a few bars after the trill on 15/17 e and the bend up on 22.
@mrmooncalf Have you ever seen mike oldfield play live?he is a guitar genius,im sure he hits every note perfectly every time. Not takin anything away from vladotubular, great cover :)

Brings joy to the brain and heart.

can you do a vid step by step how to play this
awesome take, but is there a special reason why you dont use your pinkie?
This is fantastic!!! I must ask though, what kind of guitar are you playing in this video?
Looks like a prs
Nice! i notice you never use your pinky..maybe that's why sometimes you messed up some passages..i liked it tough :-)
I own that exact electric guitar.
go to ultimate guitar, the solo is tabbed out there, i'm looking at it right now as i'm typing this comment
In Dulci Jubilo is a traditional piece of music that dates back to The Middle Ages it was NOT written by Mike Oldfield.
He didn't say Oldfield wrote he's just covering Oldfield's version. Chill.
