nasu i was in the exact same boat as you but i changed the way i play with him and now he is a demon. remember you get the best tp dashes so you can do some nasty stuff like going through someone and 180 flick. Also most people are going to be holding f against your whole mode which is the perfect scenario for you, just spam tp dash apply constant pressure, either do the 180 flick or time your 5th m1 to guardbreak- his tp dashes are the highlight of his kit impossible to read. and like others have said already: you can combo skull breaker or sometimes flashpoint from waltz rush (theres a tech to make ragdolls fling less but im gatekeeping 😈), waltz rush is probably a top 3 move in this game, you can spam like 6 or 7 dashes and as long as you can get behind block you can confirm a whole combo w flashpoint, blitz is also a mind games move as long youre close youll do a tp uppercut on whiff its also an extender. i just wish his ult had s but thats too op i guess. tldr: p4j is a demon, high skill floor you gotta abuse your tp dash and waltz rush, punish jumping with skull breaker, and play mind games. once you learn him its 4 stocks from there 🔥🔥

Transforms into the big shuriken? Dodge or block. Uses rasengan? Jump and dodge, or use a ranged move to hit him and cancel it. Clones? Use an aoe move or hit them away with m1s.

the 1 sucks in that you can't get the full dmg off of it if the opponent runs/jumps away and the move doesn't combo extend like base awakening does. the 2 IS a combo extender sure but using it as anything else is pretty much useless as it has NO ARMOR. his 3 can be countered by running away, this move has NO ARMOR and the only reliable way to use this combo ENDER is to start a combo. the 4 aint a combo extender it's a combo starter with NO ARMOR and alot of startup and has a small hitbox. so pretty much 3 of his moves in AWAKENING can be countered by just running away or hitting him during the startup of his moves.
The only other game i know with m1 hitbox consistency as bad as SU is YBA😭 1 time you cant hit a dude point blank,and other time u hit a mf across the screen
one cool thing I noticed is that after landing his ultimate you can press 3 and it will actually connect, you have to time it right but the timing window is not difficult at all so it's almost true and very consistent, plus his mode pauses while he's ult is active yet the cds still go down so you can pretty much use 3, grab them with the ultimate and by the end of it 3 will already be off cd for you to do this. also, have I mentioned how cool and satisfying it is to do this trick???? it's a literal "wait I'm not done yet"

jotaro was the first variant i unlocked. i was hella disappointed when I played my first match with his mode.
This mode is basically deku mode but worse, but jotaro has an amazing base kit so it’s kinda evened out
Side note: just use p3, it’s so much better
