This was originally from the coming home albumn but Ronnie said on his twitch he never released it because he didn't think it was good enough for the albumn and from the feedback he got back from it when he did release it he admitted he was probably wrong about it. If you like this sound from Ronnie you qill like the coming home albumn

I thought he sounded happy. I like that idea, personally. All we are is cosmic dust, is what he says later. When we die, our dust from which we came, our energy and matter, are returned to the Hniverse.
If matter can neither be created nor destroyed, we are all made up of matter which has always been here and will always be here.
I think that’s the point. He’s meshing philosophy with Einstein’s Theory of Conservation.

This didn't make the Coming Home album (he didn't think it was good enough 🤔) but he played it for the fans on his Twitch stream after meeting a sub goal. Everybody flipped out over how good it was so he went ahead and released it. So it was made way before Derek passed but I'm sure it now holds even more special meaning. Makes me wonder how many other amazing songs he has in his back pocket that we may never get to hear.

Not true 100%, I can't remember the guy's name but they're new backup guitarist or bass player I can't remember, so don't slay me for that.. but that guy was a missing link for Ronnie and he's even said it multiple times I can't remember the guy's name to save my life but they sound literally perfect live because that dude can hit every pitch in the background behind Ronnie when Ronnie needs to take a breath.. and he definitely helps in the recording process, but as far as how the recording process is done and what instrumentals are used and even the tone.. everything is done by Ronnie 100% that's why I've always said Ronnie is his own genre, but as far as backup vocals alone, he does have a backup now and I can't remember if the dude plays bass or if he's the backup guitar, but he is definitely a key member for them now, he's been that missing link for a while and a lot of people have come to the same conclusion.

Of all the music Falling in Reverse has put out, of all the masterpieces Ronnie Radke has had a hand in, this is favorite. It just hits for me, everytime. It's a heavy, hard song. And it instantly grabbed me too, the first time I heard it. I've been going through deconstructing my faith, and something about it just spoke volumes. I spent years of my life fighting the internal battle of Heaven and Hell and then to hear "death is like a one-way ticket to a distant star, all we are is a cosmic dust that scatters free, with no sense of direction we're just wandering"....holy hell!
    Love the reaction.

Brother is my favorite FIR song. It's so beautiful, but soul-crushing. I lost my best friend (and several other people I love), and until I heard this song, I'd never heard anyone else describe the grief exactly like how it feels to me. I'd never heard anyone else say they'd begged God to let them trade places; to hear that validated by someone else was an experience I can't describe. Y'all should definitely check it out. ❤❤😭

I made a playlist of a bunch of songs for my dad. Peaceful songs about dying, songs about dads, and sat there with him in the hospital for his last few hours just listening to them together. Its probably my proudest moment in life, knowing that i was able to provide him with a peaceful and pleasurable death even while liver failure is one of the worst ways to go. I’ll just add my personal theory about this song. I know it was originally meant for their last album “Coming Home” but he didn’t think it was good enough for the actual album. I personally think that part of the reason he decided to release it was because of the death of Derek Jones. As for the meaning, it could be about Ronnie and his struggles with addiction, and worrying that he might end up dying because of it. But I wonder if it could also be a tribute to Derek’s wife who was battling breast cancer at the time. As for what this song means to me, in June it’ll be one year since my nearly successful suicide attempt. I felt myself dying. But obviously, it didn’t happen. I’m alive and proud to say that I survived. This song makes me cry every time I listen to it.

Like I refuse to ruin my families future for an almost non existent chance at survival. I don't think there is a right or wrong choice here but this song just felt to me like it was explaining my feelings. I'm sure it's just me projecting but Its now my favorite song

Ronnie's songs are different, and they all hit you differently. One of the reasons not to categorize FIR and defy them (Ronnie) by attaching any genre their (his) name. Ronnie's lyrics alone will move you, then you add that voice of his... You're in heaven. or made from stone, not to feel emotional, regardless of the magnitude of its effect on the listener, during this song, along with the many other songs he has!
I suppose we have to be 'grown-ups' and have experienced life with its ups and downs to various degrees, just to begin to appreciate his lyrics as such.

You guys need to react to Straight To Hell and I Don't Mind from the Coming Home album.
There's so much emotion in his voice.
"Mama you are an addict and you passed it down to me. But who am I to cast a stone with a daughter I never see." is from I Don't Mind... if that's doesn't convince you guys to react to it...

From What Ronnie has told us He writes records and helps produce all the music BEFORE the band gets it! He has several people who comes into the studio to help him record but he plays guitar drums and piano.....
