Ok this makes me wish I got into tekken more seriously before t7 lol. She looks super fun in this game
Ikr! Back in T5 days if I had a fraction of the understanding about the mechanics that I have today I would have been beast instead of the i14f launch happy noob I was. Heck back then I didn't even know about frames/hit/block etc
Back when she had a good powerful personality
I love how much power it sounds like her moves have. I don't know if that's the audio, specific to Tekken 6, or specific to Julia's character, but I'm in love 😍.
I love your videos! After 10 years of button smashing Bryan, and with a detour of Yoshimitsu, Julia has become my main and your videos are entertaining, educational and interesting. The only issue I have with Julia is this... as soon as Kunimitsu drops, she'll be my main. I wanted to main her since the end of TTT2, when I first gave her a go.
But until then, and after that as well, just less occasionally, Julia will be my go to to enjoy Tekken, and with your content at my side, this will continue to be a blast!

It's pretty sad that even after all these years b2,3,1+2 has still almost no use. It's one of her most damaging wall bounce fillers yes, but other than that pretty useless. I always loved the animation and how 'Kung-Fuish' it looked haha
Omg! I love using it for her wall bounce filler. Someone said it wasnt good to use because of close range but I told them you’d be surprised about how often this move wallsplats even in close ranges sometimes.
@@Tekkenrulz It really does! Of course it still depends on the range in which the wall bounce hits but it's still quite useable overall in that matter.
Let's hope it has some use in season 4. Make it a screw attack or hit confirmable or something. Anything!

@@Pssms can't wait! 😊 it's the tekken I have least experience with so I'm really looking forward to it. Especially since many sources claim her to be one of the worst charcters in that game. Then again her wiki states that she was praised by many top players for her combos 🤷🏽♂️
Well, I don’t have any clue either x) It will be interesting for sure. I can already feel that her ff+1 was the reason her combos worked lol

I just checked her wiki again and I got things mixed up! That's what they had to say about her in T4:
_Similarly, because of her "relatively small move list and her need to juggle to inflict real damage", Julia requires "the right amount of patience" in order to master her in Tekken 4._
So yeah I believe she waa rather bad in that game 🤷🏽♂️ nevertheless really looking forward to the throwback 😊
You're _not_ wrong! I've heard/read that she gets a lot of hate for being "cheesy" with unfair dmg output, etc, but I see that she was a _BEAST_ in T6!😳 And I'm a Paul main for *life* saying this!😁 Been having a lot of fun tho adapting my own style and growing stronger in matches with her moveset👍
I got to say Nina is my favortite character play in Tekken 6 she like Julia imo was really good. This was very entertaining to watch and I kinda want to try some Julia with the bound and screw system.

You forgot about ws3, in T6, ff2 is guaranteed after normal hit ws3 (now only guaranteed on CH)
Im recently trying and learning Julia out and everything has been going well for me like learning her essentials but the thing that is bugging me the most are her incredibly hard to execute juggle combos. Spent a really long time yesterday practicing her ws 2,1 and df 2,1 sample combo starters. That ff1 and df1 is really hard to connect
I only mained xaioyu since tt1 but when i was playing 6 i wanted to get to know her. I just hated the ❌/🔼 or ⏹/⏺ button combos while using a ps controller. I know you could program the R/L buttons but i already had a layout for xaioyu

Man, I remember T6 PSP. It's how I trained all the advanced techniques like KBD, EWGF, crouch cancels, etc. as a kid, before I got TTT2! Is the balancing the exact same between the PSP and PS3 versions?
I didn’t have PSP back then but I used to play it from my friend, it feels nostalgic now lol. Also, I think there is no difference between the PSP and PS3 version, not that I noticed at least.
@@Pssms I remember playing Tekken 5DR on my PSP. I borrowed it from a friend who borrowed it from his cousin lol All I did was spam Diablo Jim's lazors though haha

Same thing in Ttt2. A couple Julia combos don't work in T7 like they did in T6 and Ttt2. 🤔

That was best version Julia. I was beating all opponents in my country by Julia. Now she is not so strong. Many guarantees are not allowed now

That b+2 combo is just... so fuckin horrible who put that trash in the game. They need to replace that with her old db+2 move instead
