This is a lovely performance, with a combination of virtuosity, especially nearer the beginning, and then a more reflective section starting at 2:10 and going to about 3:30. That part is gentle and peaceful, and is my favorite. I noticed that on the video, the piece is said to be "avec anxiété", and yet your playing never seems anxious in any way, likely because you are such a confidant master of the flute. The first parts sounds excited, which you really bring out so well with your energetic performance. The slower part is definitely not anxious, sounding almost soothing and peaceful in places. I love how you interpreted this piece. 🤩😍
I see a kids cartoon with kids riding skateboards in the beginning, then they got in trouble at the slow part, and were scheming to find a way into the skate park they had just been kicked out of at the end. Amazing playing as usual. One of my greatest inspirations. I'm auditioning for BRSO, Flute II in September
