She was one of the most talented Hungarian singers of the 70's and 80's. No doubt about it. Her exceptional talent and captivating personality made her unique and unforgettable. I was pretty much a schoolboy those days, but I remember her well..
The issue with Eva Pal is that she basically got Weinsteined out of the music industry. I don't speak Hungarian, but there is an English fan website which has a biography of the band members, and it says that in the early 1980s, Peter Erdosz (the man who was in charge of the entire Hungarian record industry at the time) wanted Eva Pal to be his girlfriend, and she refused, so he kicked her out of Neoton Familia and blacklisted her as punishment. Even though she was great, and many people say she was the best of the women in Neoton Familia, any venue that booked Eva Pal for a concert would suddenly find out that they weren't allowed to book anyone else. Peter Erdosz destroyed her career on purpose. I don't know how true this is, but Eva Csepregi (also of Neoton Familia) supposedly said yes to being Peter Erdosz's girlfriend, and look what a fantastic career she had. She's great too, so I don't hold this against her at all, but it seems like it was quite a horrible story. Peter Erdosz died in the late 1980s, and Eva Pal was able to work again after that. Also, Neoton Familia (who by this point were very successful, but not at all respected as artists) broke up almost as soon as he died, splitting into Eva-Neoton and Uj-Neoton almost immediately. I wrote that story from memory, but I have found the fan website I meant and it looks like I was mostly right: neo-fam.ru/memeng_pal.htm
I am hungarian and i know this story, not she was the only one who weinsteined by Erdős, for example Kati és a Kerek Perec was another group. Erdős prohibited to them to make music. He was try to create a hungarian Abba freom Neoton and the "Kerek Perec" was unnecessary. and that time he could do that easily to choose Neoton. Leader singer of Kerek Perec left our country and never made an album again. She died at 54 age, and in her testament, she said that no one has an access to make new issuance of her work, and when she came back to Hungary she never ever sang Kati és a Kerek Perec songs again. I hope my bad english not insult you.

@@devonparker6243 Thank you! I like to learn about Hungarian music. I know the name of "Kati es a Kerek Perec", but I do not know any of their music.
Спасибо за видео! Необыкновенно талантливая и харизматичная Ева Пал!
Klass!
She was a member of the group “Neoton Familia” Did she really record only 2 albums as a solo artist? 😢
Yes, in 1995 released Mindenem a zene and in 1983 the Aerobic SP was released first after she left Neoton.
She recorded three songs with the Hungarian band Roller in 1987. They are on You Tube.
