But now at 24 I still haven't had a friend that felt the same. It took me so many years to not feel sad. Now I think I just hope she is happy. And I do deserve a real friend. Now as an adult I just stick to a few people. But I don't let them get as close as I used to.

My friend who was supposed to be my maid of honor was always jealous of other peoples successes like jobs vacations you name it & when college was over we were very close except when things started to turn up for me she got very distant and then it really got bad when I got engaged last year. I guess that was too much for her to handle because she acted like didn't even care. She doesn't even know how he proposed .. I tried calling her multiple times to tell her now and it took me a long time to figure out what I did wrong then I realized.. she started getting jealous of me. She wasn't happy for me she was jealous. It was an ugly ugly thing and still hurts . Luckily I have a very supportive gives just as much as I do into the friendship friend who is always happy for me and vice versa so when it came down to choose who was going to be in my wedding it was a hard but easy choice.
