He was alright in the NRL under 20s. No way near the best in that comp but he grew a lot after that
Yo..I went to the game he played against roger sheck in roosters under 20's..he was all over sheck aggressively in his face..he's up thr bro..
Hardout! he played couple first grade games at centre. But the centres he was going up against at the time were real good. He defs learned alot from that experience and is now one of the best centres for union
He has enormous physical qualities, but at this time, he could have pass the ball much more
And that’s the main reason why he doesn’t get picked for the All Blacks bro
@KK-xy6gv exactly. Wouldnt you pass to your best player as much as you can lol
@jasinmarch8240 sounds like you know it all, he didn't get picked because of his attitude niggas has crip tatted on his back since he was 12 lol
With all due respect, I think he is the answer to the current mid field crisis the all blacks is facing.
@@JessieTrainorLVegas they need a power runner. weve always had power runners that free up the centres and wingers. weve been lacking that for years now
Lol remember the planking challenge at 0:36
One of those players who was mistreated by NZRFU ending up plying his trade overseas and would be picked for any international side
Dude, so many X factor players this happens to. Piutau, Lowe, Laumape, Hosea Gear etc. etc. endless list of great players with X factor that get frustrated and leave.
He always played with a chip on his shoulder and was pretty dirty at times. Rumour has it he wasn’t very well respected by team mates and opposition alike
High school beast...pro rugby is another level. He will succeed with the right mindset.
You’re right, he could end up possibly making the all blacks in the future. Hopefully the Hurricanes sign him. He would be a great fit after Conrad Smith and Nonu finish up there.
I'd like to see how he would match up against hunter Paisami . Both similar size . Lumape is a great tackle breaker, but Paisami hits very hard in contact
@@antology7 manu is probably the strongest centre in the business. Not many guys as quick as him with that kind of bulk to their frame
A few of them had good school boy reputations.....Ngani Laumape, Solomone Kata, Konrad Hurrell, Sevu Reece etc....
Crazy now he playing retirement grade footy already
Retirement grade footy? Idk what you have bee watching but he could easily still be in SR killing it mate
@@PepeAgain1025 the Europe competition is considered retirement grade footy for accomplished all blacks, no doubt he’s capable of playing in sr
@@Bootyjoose2117 No it’s just where the big money is for them, they go their after they’ve decided to stop wanting to be an All Black
@Bootyjoose2117 says who you lol few all blacka went to Europe then came back and made all Blacks. Ben Smith, SBW they go their to make the money retirement is Spain or America I know these guys grew up with them all. He's still good enough to come back to ABs if they open up player selection to over seas like some want to do
Go my young toko. Hia is another tank full of weapons. Bula toko.
Kid at 0:44 is still in a coma
Also a plank? smh
0:34 lmao
I don't mean this as an insult to Lamape but ad good as he was he couldn't hold down a rugby spot.
Its ashame PNBHS couldnt keep they 4th graders out of trouble cause theur was alot more similar to his takentvone they let go to keebra park was nganis side kick bigger then ngani too and a few others just left all ended up in jail for assaults and burgs. Was suppose to be Manawatu super team coming up with how stacked they were
lets go palmy
he should never have been dropped form the allblacks, so they could take 3 injured mid fielders
All Blacks messed up not selecting him for last World Cup , now their midfield is weakest it’s been in past 20 years
Pretty standard, didnt pass it back then still doesn't
Laumape thinks he is Nonu🤔
He was a midfielder and yet he never passed the ball 😂 No wonder he didn’t last long in the All Blacks
Turns out it was the ABs that got it wrong lol got rid of the only go-forward back we had. Ended up getting mauled by Ireland and SA backline that year ABs let go of him
Great with ball in hand, but with todays laws he’s going to have to learn to bend at the hips to make tackles…
Looks like a future ram-raider.
Pffft Classic case of a guy who could never step up to the international level.
Good at school boy level, that’s it.
@@SHORTS_N_SHIRTS again a guy who couldn’t make the cut at international level, hence why he got dropped after 2 chances!
Ngani Laumape is a bum only going where the easy rugby is played and big money.
Awesome player and all, but no Ma'a Nonu and Laumape just seems to have an attitude which I dont think is the right attitude for the All-Blacks. Something not right about the guy.
Anyway, NZ will find another Ma'a Nonu one day, not bothered by it. As for Laumape, stay in the UK, France or wherever you are, your one bitter dude who actually hates NZ, if you read what the nutjob has to say.
Where have you read this??.
Would really like to know and interested in looking at it, to why the All blacks didn't consider him Long term centre
@@muttz9093You need to be more than a crowbar to cement a midfield position in the ABs.
@@markcourtney2205 I wasn't worried about his skill.
I fully understand that he wasn't the best for the All blacks team at that time and he didn't have what the team needed, Kicking ability versatility in the backs for courage, and defensive reads and also a combination pair. But that's what I've just read or seen from TV.
I just want to see where he said that he hates NZ because that's pretty harsh statement especially if you saying there's evidence, that's what I'm interested in not that he's in Europe or not good enough for the All black's.
Cheers though again for identifying that he's one dimensional.
The plank got me in fits 😂😂😂
What a freak! He's got it all
