    "Nice lanyard-hole." was my first thought. Almost fell of my chair for thinking it. Nice to know there's at least two of us!

    That is a stellar price for an integral. I would love one.

    Getting less patient with death-lock, and framelock flippers generally. Also moving away from blades over three inches. Currently I carry a MiniGlimpse alternated by a Protech SBR and a Freek. I own the BRS Minuteman, a handsome knife that looks like it's issued to TIE Fighter pilots, and the Apache looks interesting too.

    Very nice. Wish they’d make a lefty. Until then my left carry Megatherium will fill the position.

    Great review of a unique, “artsy” integral. At about $300 with a 3.5 “ M390 blade this knife just might tempt my wallet to smile!

    I do like the design and if I just had a little more money in the bank, I might pull the trigger. I am a Isam fan though and love the first look at this knife. Nice review Nick Shabazz.

    I have been very impressed with brs evolve line knives.! I have their thresher xl knife and wow it’s nice 👍🏻! The price is unbeatable and the action is impeccable! I think in the near future you will definitely see this brand easily competing with Reate, kizer and we knife co. Well done brs! 👏

    It almost reminds me of a WE Arrakis - but without most of the holes.

    I generally find Isham's work to be hideous (most of them look like props from a bad Syfy channel original movie to me), but this one is really attractive. And a sub-$300 integral on top of being really attractive? Fantastic.

    Going against you on this one Nick. I like a thicker knife because you can get a better grip on it for cutting tasks. That's what a knife is made for...cutting. The thin handle craze is ridiculous...how a knife rides in the pocket should not be a major concern in designing a knife. Another thing...Weight. A knife cuts better and holds your "cutting line" when it has some weight on it along with the pressure of your hand. Again... a knife is made to cut. This is a assume knife design and for me it would be great if it were 3.75"-4" on the blade length. Then it would be an "aussummer" design. Be Well

    There is an ugly here. The unnecessary addition of the upside down light bulb plate on the pivot. The blade profile is lifted directly from the ZT 0770. Shame on you Elijah. At least you added a triangular hole to make it less obvious. Pass.

    • @nwmetalbug
      @nwmetalbug 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      That plate holds in the stop pin.

    • @jamesbarisitz4794
      @jamesbarisitz4794 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nwmetalbug Guess you need to to check out what a D shaped pivot is. It allows for a simple and cleaner design with a round screw head on either side of the scales without those unnecessary plates. The pivot pin is flat on one side that locks into the scales internally on a matching round hole with a flat spot too. The pivot is threaded and a screw on either side finishes the blade pivot cleanly. Better looking than those twin beer can pull tabs I'd suggest.

    • @nwmetalbug

    I just got mine today. Very Disappointed with the Green Finish. It is a Dirt & Scratch Magnet! As soon as you take it out of the package and handle it, it turns a dull, dirty-ish dull green color (No, my hands were not dirty). If you bump the handle lightly against anything, it scratches. The knife out of the box had very light to touch frame lock release lock-up if you tried to open the blade. You have to just grip the belt clip when trying to open it, or it will not open. The pocket clip is way too tight going into and out of my pocket. You would think a knife over $300 wouldn't have all these problem, but so much for this one. On the positive side, I will say that it's solid built, the blade is very sharp and centered and the detent is perfect, but this will probably be my Last purchase from this knife company!
