The bow wave of 1914-19 is lapping at the shore
      Peter Hitchens
A European war cannot be anything but a cruel, heartrending struggle, which, if we are ever to enjoy the bitter fruits of victory, must demand, perhaps for several years, the whole manhood of the nation, the entire suspension of peaceful industries, and the concentrating to one end of every vital energy in the community….a European war can only end in the ruin of the vanquished and the scarcely less fatal commercial dislocation and the exhaustion of the conquerors. Democracy is more vindictive than Cabinets. The wars of peoples will be more terrible than those of kings.”

Okay, what about your nuclear weapons? You do know that a nuclear Arba state will not be allowed until they change Islam to a peaceful nation. …And small countries can not afford large groups of immigrants for fear of being overrun by immigrants. The focus should have always been on the rules of women and men to make a better society for British people. Only British people can make British people, and those people have to want to be British or they can not come in, or will be deported back if found to be other than British. Islam is not a religion it is a nation-controlling system first. The Muslims are religious.

I too like Starkey, but don't get carried away, like everyone else at least some of what he says is just wrong. For example, he hates English Nature, this organisation does a lot of very good work and the re-verting to their original meandering of upland river courses will help to reduce downstream flooding. Look at the wonderful scheme underway at Hawsewater in Cumbria.
Apart from that I agree with most of what he says. the Great Repeal Act is an essential for the next government.

@@murphyoramaThis is a version of “at least under Dictator X the trains ran on time”.
Starkey objects to the scattering to the four winds of power which, constitutionally, ought to reside in parliament.
English Nature is an example of dozens of ways in which all important decisions are no longer made or even controllable from the notionally-elected centre.
Another, which even I realised was very bad, was when the Bank of England was “given independence”. I was in my thirties and asked “How do I influence the Monetary Policy Committee?” I can’t. Nobody can.
The assumption then & now is that they’ll do their best. But to what ends? They’re human. We don’t elect them. If a third party wished to influence interest rates or planned bond selling or buying, they need only to influence a handful of people not in the glare of publicity. I expect by now, those appointed are influenced by third parties.

No, the Working Class BROKE Britain in 1979 when they voted for Neo Liberal Policies that they believed would allow themselves an opportunity to get RICH and many did indeed become WEALTHY, they were able to buy a property for the first time in their lives! Property that was built by the State for those who could not afford to buy on the Open Market, they were able to buy Shares for the first time following the Sale of our Public Utilities. Regrettably, many also got left behind and those who rose up response was "tough luck", because in our country we have "I am Alright Jack" mentality. Indeed, those who were left behind was told to get on their bikes and find greener pastures! I remember all of this and more.... The Labour Party was so scared of what was happening that they were forced to change and become New Labour that was essentially a Party that were Conservative and driven by educated professional classes who also did not speak to those "left behind". 40 years later we are where we are! It is going to a very tough century and we will just have to keep it moving and get on with our lives.....

      John 3:16-21
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
      Mark 1.15
15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
      2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
      Hebrews 11:6
6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

It generally refers to the area in northern France and Belgium, where the British Army was stationed, and suffered a vast number of casualties, generally within the single generation of age group 18 to 30 years of age... It’s ridiculous to try to live in the Uk. We are inundated already. Getting housing is almost impossible and rents or mortgage prices are through the roof. Trying to get an appointment at the General Practitioner can take up to six weeks. People are going to A&E in an emergency (obviously) and are sometimes having to wait in a cold, full waiting room for 48 hours or more before being seen by a doctor. School places are almost non-existent, roads are packed with cars, food and clothing are very expensive commodities and we are looking for ways to stop and reverse the amount of immigration to our tiny island.
I’m not even exaggerating. That’s how bad it is here since Europe decided to open the borders to all and sundry from every country in the world. It’s a complete failure and a terrible mess.

WEF probably do have have strong influence, but if you listen to Starkey, it's the hundreds of quangos deciding policy, not the WEF directly. The WEF are partnered with the UN for the 17 Sustainable Development Goals nonsense. It there that policy filters down to these quangos, who used to listen(still do IMHO) to the EU for policy. It's where all this Net Zero nonsense comes from, from all these international technocratic organizations we have no say on.

The thing is all these politicians do say I'm brilliant I am, I'm going into parliament to change so many people's lives but the only lives they changed are their own lives. They get paid millions to rip the country off, the working class and the poor people got to pay for what they have done then. Because they keep taking the prefurbial pxss out of people, why should it carry on???????? Why should people with nothing keep paying for them to live like kings and queens??????? Just so that they can laugh at them. If your born poor your no good as they put it, they put you in categories and if your poor you will stay that way only the rich are allowed a life. The prime ministers and the mps do just make life better for themselves, they don't care about the people that voted them in there not anymore they don't, I don't think they ever did. Tribalism, or nationalism as it sometimes referred to, is a very natural human state (and very common in the wider animal kingdom). By governments trying to eradicate the natural way in which people self-select with whom they wish to live and commune, by creating internationalism, they have failed to understand the predilection of human nature. Therefore, what we have now is a 'multicultural' society where individual populations live separate lives according to their own prejudices and interests. We have a self-segregated society, even though politicians love to pretend that we are a successful multicultural society.

I lived abroad for the whole of the 1990s. When I came back in 2000 I did not recognise the UK.
I couldn’t quite explain it in words and no one around me seemed to be in agreement. But Time has revealed all.

Anyone else seen the 10 part documentary Europa? The fact the wiki page for it immediately says it’s antisemitic, is actually the point the film makes, and if we do make Islamophobia a law, we will walk down the exact same path that the documentary describes.

Wonderful... he joins the dots and the source of the problem. Laws determined and handed down from "on high" not be elected representatives of the people. What a mess we have gotten ourselves into.. but tide is turning. Thanks to free thinkers like David Starkey!
