I’m an independent Scentsy consultant in Dawson Creek, BC, Canada. I’ve been a lover of all things scented and home fragrance for as long as I can remember! I love connecting with other home fragrance fanatics!!!

- Consultant Store will no longer sell personalized labels or personalized spatulas. I believe regular spatulas will still be available. Labels can be ordered through the Scentsy Pro Shop as usual still, just not in the Consultant Store.

It seems like they’re really trying to squeeze as much profit as possible. I’m just a buyer and not a consultant, but I think customers are going to be more cautious about what they’re buying. I’ve enjoyed a lot of Disney bars, but I don’t think I want to spend $7 US for each one, especially when shipping costs $10 (or $8 in my club). Goodness.
I always like the Disney Stuff,but the last dumbo warmer,I don't sell one. The other Warmers are much more expensive,I couldn't grow. People here in Germany talled me,for the price I could buy a lot of groceries. That are much more needed. I'm thinking of being a customer and quite being a consultant. I put to much work and money in it,never earn a trip or something and never will.
Dan O never should have bragged last year that Scentsy is now a billion dollar company lol. People be going insane. But honestly ALL companies are doing this. You simply have to decide what you can and cannot afford. People complain about the $10 flat rate shipping too, but that’s likely killing them in all honesty. I know some of the huge packages I get cost way more than that to ship. I know they get a shipping discount but I work in global shipping and it’s not that much.
I’ll have to look in my area to compare washer scent bead prices. Sad about body cream. That and the sugar scrubs were my faves!! 😢 ah well - we will adjust!
Good point about the shipping - $14 flat rate shipping to CANADA actually blows my mind every time I get a large order. Many Scentsy items are heavy and dense - wax, washer whiffs, laundry liquids, etc. Those big boxes must cost a fortune to ship, many times over $14. Like $70 easily.
I think you’re on to something about it being trying to recover shipping costs because those do keep rising for everyone and to offer flat rate they’ve got to make up for it with increases somewhere I suppose.
The changes are making me rethink being a consultant and also having a Scentsy club. The increase in licensed bars will make my club go up at least $15 US. Thank you for the video! I really enjoy watching your channel!
Great video Robyn! Im not a consultant, just a customer… but I feel scentsy is getting greedy with the price increases and screwing their consultants with the less prv / commission… without consultants, scentsy would make no profit. Wish they would’ve made improvements to club … being able to increase bars, pick and choose what bars you want to ship in your club … but another price increase, and they still can’t make a decent coffee scent, offer more bakery or put a better system in place for BBMB. The new scents for spring / summer … meh 🫤 I guess we’ll see … hopefully they aren’t light with minimal performance. Thanks so much for sharing, Robyn 🫶🏻💛

Scentsy is a luxury as it is and it’s very disappointing they keep raising the prices. Scentsy is not a need whatsoever and as much as I love it as well if they keep raising the prices I can see them making less money than before. Such a bummer situation
I hope the room sprays go back to the formulation from about 10 years ago. They weren't oily, the pump spray was very good and sprayed a fine mist. You could spray them in your bathroom without danger of slipping afterwards and they never left oil spots on fabric. I'm going to wait for several reviews before I try the new formula, but I am hopeful.
That’s interesting that they had a good sounding formula and changed it in favor of an oil based one back then. Yes I hope it’s got the same traits as the old formula! No slips and spots!
I have a very old one that I found in a moving. It was a scent of the month from maybe 2014 and it still works great! I've been so disappointed with the formula in the metal canister. I have often wondered what they changed the formula.

Wow, thanks Robyn! I hadn’t read the news in the workstation yet. Those are some hefty price increases. $45 for a large washer whiff tub seems very expensive. And the half off change for a bundle is not ideal. I really like the body cream so also disappointed to see this leaving. Am excited for those new scents!
Personally, I have never purchased a licensed bar. I will not pay more for a bar (that is the same Scentsy wax) just because it has “Disney” on it with a pretty picture. Just my thought. $7 is pricey!
Yes for most adults the Disney licensing isn’t worth it - for my child I don’t mind paying an extra 50 cents because she gets such a kick out of the bars being Disney themed. But $1 more is more substantial and will make me think harder and be more choosey!
In the UK the licensed bars are increasing to £8.50 which is 14.50 Canadian dollers, 10.80 us dollers 😢 im absolutely booting my licensed bars from my club and will not be ordering any new licenced bars to try as i wont miss what i havent tried
That is quite costly when you factor in the exchange comparison cost! Wow!

Bamboo and Rainfall sounds amazing. As far as the price increases I think the washer whiffs are the most surprising. That's quite a hike

Thanks for the summary. I had read the news on the work station. I was shocked initially about the price increases on the laundry products - it seemed like a huge jump. But I have some spares on hand & I’ll stock up in February so I can delay paying more for a while. I almost never buy licensed bars & neither do my girl gang and now I’ll definitely ignore them. The only ones I do buy are Ravenclaw & NHL. I’ll be taking them out of my club I have a small stockpile. I’m trying to drum up enthusiasm for the new season. I’m not a S/S girl. I love sandalwood scents & am happy to hear there’s a new bakery so 🤞
The new scents do sound quite appealing! And yes I do buy licensed bars for my daughter but I’ll be a lot more selective now. 50c was easy to overlook in my head but $1 gives me more pause for some reason!
Time to reduce my purchases lol They are raising the prices in Europe as well so a license bar will now cost €10.75...which is almost 16 Canadian dollars. Hand soaps will be €15.50, the small tub of washer whiff €21.75 and the laundry soap €31...hard pass for me.
WOAH, I would have thought Euro prices would be lower than US prices because of your currency being higher valued!!!
@@RobynH oh I wish! Granted, taxes are included in the price here but it's still way more expensive and makes it a luxury at this point. A regular bar of wax is 9.25...nobody would buy it for that price in the US 😆
Thank you for this "just the facts and only the facts" presentation! It was very helpful! I know it must have been difficult to keep your personal feelings out of it! Now that we know the facts, I am all for hearing your thoughts!😂 It's a bummer that they are cutting your earnings! My consultant is a good friend, and I order more to support her. It's not like they are a billion dollar company or anything. That is a big price difference for washer whiffs!😮 I will need to stock up on a few things before the change over.

Hi Robyn, Thank you for doing this video. I am glad they have reformulated the room sprays. I am curious about the dryer sheets. Hand soap is getting very expensive. They are giving companies like B&BW an open door on lotions and hand soaps. The price increase is not a small, but large and a noticeable hike. Customers already say Scentsy is so expensive, this will not sit well. They have been slimming down all over. The clams, are a thinner plastic that break easily. The PVR is sad, consultants and host do so much work and the perks keep getting slim. Thank goodness for the flash sales, it is more what the product is worth and also, fits with most budgets. Curious of the Very Vanilla. Thank you.
Lots of good points here - yes I do worry also that the increase in the body line will move our products further out of line with the prices of competition like BBW.
There’s good changes here but the harder changes are a bit disheartening.

This is so disappointing. One of my biggest thing is how many times a bar is just way too light or only lasts a couple hours at best. If you’re going to charge more make a better product. Test them and maybe label how strong and how long something lasts. Some people like lighter but for my house I need stronger. Spending money on bars not worth it on top of price increases make me crazy. It is also a luxury so it may be time to really scale down and just be happy with what I can get verses having to get them all. For every one that ends up in my club….. something replaces it that I love too. Maybe not the same but it is what it is at this point. I may be saying good bye to washer whiffs
Labelling scent strength is a brilliant idea. Some scents are lighter and that’s fine, but people want to make informed decisions on what to get for their particular homes/spaces, and a strength rating would be super useful for that!
I may look at creating a new rating system of my own for strength to reference when reviewing.
@@RobynH that would be awesome if you did!!! I found you and a few others on Utube to try to find out how strong some of the scents were. I was trying to love Scentsy ( now I do) but so many times I feel I waste money when I can barely smell it. I don’t want every one to become a bedroom or bathroom scent so that it performs as it should.
Great video presenting the changes. I can't say I'm pleased, but it won't affect me too much as I am not a consultant for a broad group of people - It's not how I make my living. It's basically me and a few friends that shop Scentsy. I do like that they are reformulating the room sprays.
I'm so sad about the price increases. Specifically the laundry line. It's just too much for us Canadians. I likely won't be purchasing liscensed bars anymore. I think its sad for u consultant on your commissions. Scentsy makes millions every year and I think its wrong that they are doing this to u guys. 😢 i might send them an email as a customer. Also, sad about no catalog bricks, too. Everyone I know bought them.
The laundry hikes are especially steep, yes. Definitely going to have to be a host reward item or bundled!

Thanks, Robyn, for the good and bad news. I agree the room sprays are LONG overdue for a major redo. I hope they are close to BBW sprays. The bad news for me is charging us more than 50% of the discounted price of the bundles. That is a fantastic incentive to having parties. But, it could have been worse.
The room spray reformulation is a definite highlight.
I’m excited to try Pinkberry Sandalwood and Sun Castles! I’m sad to hear about the washer whiff price increase. Also, I’m going to steer clear of Disney bars. $7 is too expensive.
And as for new bars, Im excited about the berry sandalwood one and the vanilla one😊

Not impressed with the licensed bar increase, unless it is a spectacular scent I won’t be getting anymore. And I feel ripped off not getting the bundle prices with half offs anymore.
I’m going to add my opinion as a former scentsy customer. I was a die hard fan with a scentsy club that cost $150 every 2 months and I ordered every collection in between to see if I needed something for my Scentsy club. I also ordered many warmers. Right after the pandemic they bragged and bragged about how well they did during the pandemic they rewarded customers by not offering bundle and save or free shipping on scentsy club. I was very upset they did not honor the deal they offered me when I signed up. This resulted in my Scentsy club going up $30 per shipment. It was not insignificant. I was mad I cancelled and I have not ordered any scentsy since. I don’t know why this video came in my feed but I just want to tell you my experience in case you need customer feedback and why people may be leaving scentsy.
Thank you for sharing - I think it’s important that Scentsy hear many perspectives of all sides, including the ones of folks who are disappointed. 💜

This update was really well presented, and it was super helpful! 🎉 So let’s talk wax based on names: Evening Sky, Pinkberry Sandalwood, Sun Castles, and Very Vanilla. I like the name of the cake bar, but for some reason I can’t handle any more heavy bakery like Praline Cake or King Cake. If it’s a citrus cake, I’m ALL in!! Same with Berry Sweet - if it’s bakery I’m there, but pass if it’s just fruit. I’m looking forward to stocking up next month, and I can’t wait to go over the new catalog! Thanks again!!

Unfortunately, prices are going up with almost everything at the moment. I am a consultant but only for myself and a few family members so for me personally it's not a massive blow. I feel for consultants who bought into selling Scentsy as being a living; they seem to be presented with changes (for the worse) almost every month and will no doubt continue to see their earnings nose dive. Perhaps corporate should scale back, continue with the things they make most on instead of trying to have a hand in every pot .. just my 2 cents!

I will only buy laundry with a sale of some sort. I am a consultant for myself; but the 15.00 for a web address is not right. I might have move on..just buy from my consultant.

Starburst Sky is one of my faves. I have the wax in my club. I got the hand cream in a whiff box and I'm almost done with it so glad to get more. But Im bummed the price is going from $9.00 to $13.00
Thank you for the news! I am making decisions, and think I will cut all licensed bars when it jumps to 7. I can justify paying an extra .50 per bar for licensing, but not $1. If the disney licensing is so costly I think next year it will be dropped all together. Sad about no more jammy time body lotion, I will get another one before it is gone. And the laundry I JUST started using in August. I will have to make life choices😬. I agree the new bar lineup sounds great, but I will reserve excitement until I see scent notes. Your northern lights imagery on the end is so lovely!
I do love our laundry and will continue to use it, but it will be a host reward item or a Club half off item for me from now on!
And I agree, with your take on Licensed bars. 50c more felt easy enough for me to justify but $1 gives me pause. I’ll be choosier with licensed bars going forward and won’t just try them all like I’ve been doing.

There are plenty of vendor options to explore out there. If you’re in the US some are less costly than Scentsy and some aren’t. If you’re in Canada they’re all priced about the same as Scentsy, but there are good ones out there! My favorite Canadian vendor is Melting Memories but Nostalgia & Co and Canapa Candle make good melts too!

Yes most of the descriptions have leaked out of R2 now, and I’m very pleased with what I’m seeing!!! Suncastles sounds very nice!
Hi Robyn .. great video . The 10 bars in Uk same except for we are not getting Berry Sweet, Moon Orchid or the Wild cherry .. we’re getting Coastal sun fruit , pineapple and palm and sunset citrus in place of those 3 . Love that they mix it up a bit .. I’m still hoping we get blackberry spice here eventually . Looking forward to new catalogue and waxes .. 😊

My sister mentioned the price increases on the whiffs to me and I was annoyed at first. However, I went to the store to compare prices and the whiffs are actually will be pretty much the same price as scent beads from other companies. So, while I wish we didnt have them, the annoyance level has died down. Surprised that they decided to back out of catalog bricks though. Bricks always seem like a popular item. The spring bricks and holiday bricks seemed more popular than normal and most sold out. The catalog bricks were out of stock multiple times throughout the catalog so I think they sold well. Body cream formula seemed the same as the hand cream formula so it seemed like a duplicate item to start with. I am actually surprised we are keeping around the travel twists. I have a slight feeling that the new cotton clean ups will not be worth it. The new scents sound absolutely great and I cant wait to see the scent descriptions.
The travel twists are a puzzle to me too - they don’t get a lot of love.
Thats good to know, now that you mention it I haven’t shopped for grocery store laundry scent beads in a long time so I’m thinking of the prices of them several years ago - interesting that they’ve increased to be competitive with Scentsy’s washer whiff pricing! Thats good to know!
$45 for whiffs is a lot but those tubs do last a VERY long time.
Unfortunate about the party bundle ½ offs but I have a feeling they are trying to keep wax bars at $6 USD for as long as they can by making profit elsewhere. That was my reasoning behind the more flimsy thin clam shell plastic we've been getting.
Absolutely. I think they’re exhausting options to avoid regular bar increases. Which I agree that keeping those prices steady should be a priority. But ouch!
I noticed the new $6 cotton clean ups will only be 4 prv 🤔 Really anxious to get scent notes for the 10 new bars. They all sound great to me!
I noticed that too! In Canada it’s an even worse ratio - they’re $8 and 4 PRV so most consultants will make $1 commission on that $6-8 item, which falls far from the general 25% amount.
Again it’s one item and not a huge deal but I do not like that precedent AT ALL.

Hi Robyn, so sad to see body cream being discontinued, this was not announced in R3, I use this a lot. The washer whiff increase is a bit steep, may affect sales. I won’t be buying the laundry liquid a bit too expensive now. The decision to not allow the bundle discount for hostesses is stingy and mean spirited. Thank you for your explanation.
Interesting, if the consultant workstation in R3 doesn’t indicate that body cream is being discontinued I wonder if that’s just an oversight or if R3 is keeping body cream!

I found a small glitch in the system where you view the 10 new spring scents. When I go on to the page it briefly showed me the scent notes hehe. I did screenshot them but TH-cam will not allow me to post them, but very vanilla is vanilla and tonka bean. 😊

$7 for a wax bar is excessive and people won’t pay it. They will lose a lot of customers. You can get vendor wax for alot less.
I forget that US vendors can be less for US customers - in Canada vendor wax is more expensive than Scentsy, especially if you’re ordering from the US!
They are going to lose so much business with this garbage they keep doing to us!!! There are better products that work better for cheaper out there!!

I wondered if Wild Cherry & Sakura will be a dupe for B&BW Japanese Cherry Blossom? Intrigued for sure! Cake me to Paradise I'm imagining like a pineapple cake, something tropical with bakery. Oh and I find it strange that they put body cream in the whiff box only to discontinue it a month+ later. A lot of people use the box to try out products for the first time. How upsetting for people who like that formula. The hand soap I tried last year because of whiff box and found it's more moisturizing than B&BW. It's my preferred soap and if it ever goes away I will be beside myself. Not crazy about the price increase obviously, but there is always flash sales to shop at a better price.

I believe just catalog - Club bricks should remain unchanged from what I can tell in the article. The article references catalog only.

I don't like the bundle 1/2 offs, however the increase in the other items is not a big deal because we can get them FREE using our hostess rewards.
That’s true, but anything that impacts our customers will impact our business, and not all customers are party-hosting customers. This will hit more casual Scentsy customers hard!

We don’t do Disney anymore, so they can raise their licensing fees as much as they want. They are hurting themselves in all other ways and their profits have plummeted as a result, might as well hurt themselves on the Scentsy side as well.
There isn't anything that Scentsy has; that a good wax vendor does not. Better to support small businesses.
Hi Robyn and other viewers, do you know what the scent undertones of Ocean were and is there another scent that is similar to ocean, fresh and clean smelling that doesn't have a sweet smell?
Ocean has a beautiful sea mineral type note to my nose! There is unfortunately nothing else like it that I’ve come across, Scentsy or otherwise!

I wish they would do free shipping with a certain $ amount in club or if at a certain total another 1/2 priced item. You know so many of us would get more than one 1/2 priced item if this was the case. For items on anything other than wax/warmers I usually only shop those items in a flash sale/clearance situation. Maybe 1/2 priced item in club for the washer whiffs.
Starburst Sky is a lovely scent - very similar to BR540 - I find the BBW In the Stars scent to be similar so if you needed the body cream go for that.
I feel like other than the price increases they are doing the consultants dirty when you all work your butts off. So many of you YT scentsy ladies(and gentlemen) help inform many of our purchases. I don't like that they are taking away some PRV - even if its 5 cents from a dollar it adds up.
I would love to see an additional half off for very large clubs! That would be a great change!

Absolutely. Price increases are a fact of life, especially lately. Everywhere, every industry. Scentsy has done quite a few increases lately, and this one I have to say is quite substantial in both $ amounts and number of items affected. I do hope this is the last of them for awhile.
Are they discontinuing BRICKS from my club order? I have Luna & Johnny Appleseed currently, but will i lose those Brick?
No, as far as we’ve heard only catalog bricks are discontinuing.
I’m confused on the bricks I get a brick every month so is it going away and they just going to give me a small $6.00 bar like sugar cookie
If you have Bricks in your Club, those shouldn’t be changing.
Only the 3 current catalog bricks will be going away, and from the sounds of it there will be no bricks in the spring catalog. Club should still have the same Brick options as now.
Question for you. (You seem to be up on the latest and greatest.)
I saw a comment on another consultants youtube video that mentions a “fee” line being added to the Scentsy club totals. You have to click on “estimate tax” in order to see it. It does say $0 charge on mine, but when I go to calculate what my total of my club should be, Scentsy’s total is $3.85 off. That is $3.85 more than it should be. Have you noticed this?
I just went in and checked this out - I see the “fee” line you mentioned! Mine also says 0, and when I add it up it all seems right.
If yours seems higher than it should be I’d contact support and either ask them to explain or fix it if it is higher than it should be!
I’d guess this line isn’t supposed to be there at all and it’s just an oversight they haven’t noticed/fixed! Good catch!

Iv been watching all your videos and following you for a couple months. We both enjoy the same scents!! Iv got a question tho… not scentsy related. After watching some of your videos of sassy girl aroma. I ordered a bunch of bricks early December paid a small fortune lol preferred a lot. But haven’t received anything?? Iv messaged the site with no response. Does it take that long to receive the waxes?
I believe she just had a family tragedy occur so there may be some delays. Her Facebook group is usually the best source of up to date information on shipping.
Robyn, was anything mentioned about an added fee to clubs? I was doing some edits to my club and clicked the estimate tax, so I could see my total cost. And there is a Fee section under the estimated tax; currently it says $0 but I am curious if there will be an extra fee added to club?

I believe so, yes. The article referenced catalog bricks discontinuing, not Club.
Scentsy is getting ridiculous. SMH!!! There bars have gone down hill. Scent doesn’t last long and not as strong as they used to be.

Whiff Box is not slated for any increases at this time.
