It's really amazing to see your transition from playing rock and metal to gypsy jazz. What led you to this change?
Seeing genres as languages. To be able to communicate and musically connect with people who play different styles. Can't say that I mastered everything on the way, but it just makes me happy gathering musical knowledge.

This has nothing in common with Gypsy Style Jazz. I'm not saying this is bad (it's quite good), but this has as much in common with Gypsy Jazz as Hendrix's Band of Gypsies.
I've seen jazz manouche style acoustics - with the second amp box in the body, but WTF is THAT!?! hollow bodied electric nylon?

We already tell everyone what "the best improvisation is the one prepared at home" means, or we continue to let them think that "improvise" is "play the first thing that comes to your head"
At best, they are just variations on things that have been practiced and played a lot (all the life, to be exact). Style issue. Jazz is one of the falsest empty products of American culture, and it is not easy to be above that ranking.
Otherwise, very good job, I've enjoyed some of your ideas.
