Thank you for sharing. I've been making adjustments on my saw--fine tuning. I'll follow similar steps that you have outlined and hope I can get it close to what you achieved. Great video.

Looks great,, but tons of work... next time, try scotch-brite pads using WD40 rust release as lubricant and either your palm sander or prefit wheels for your buffer. It works better and a lot faster. Get some boeshield rust and stain release to get rid of the dark staining and save all of that elbow grease. Your table top size, in worse condition, can be done in 30 min or less.
I forgot to add...dry scrape all surface rust away using a fresh razor blade in a holder, taking care to not run the blade over the perimeter edges of the table or miter slots. Do it slow so you don't scratch the surface with the blade either, and change the blades as needed.

I have the same table saw, bought it for $120, and it has cast iron wings, I looked long and hard to find it at that price.
