Although Ruiz did his thang, this wasn't a Mega fight. So I agree with Stephan. The Mega fight has always been between Joshua, Wilder, and Fury. Ruiz wasn't even in that category.
In fact I still don't think he is because at the end of day, people still want to see Joshua vs Wilder, or Fury, and vise versa. I still wanna see a Joshua vs. Wilder fight even tho Joshua isn't the Champ anymore.

Now I will say, if he beats Wilder or Tyson, then people will start to want to see him fight the last one. So its 1 down and 2 to go.
But this is really about Eddie Hearn fuckin up everything by procrastinating. Ruiz was suppose to fight the winner of the Wilder/ Joshua fight, or Tyson vs Joshua or Wilder.

Wilder showed his weaknesses against Ortiz and Fury. Each of them showed they’re vulnerable to Wilder as well. Ruiz showed some issues against Usyk and Parker. Joshua revealed his problems v Klitzscho, White, and Povetkin. Even Dubois showed issues in his most recent fight.

Now, Andy Ruiz Jr is different, his speed, and craftmanship more than make up for his lack of reach. He will move forward, cut the distance, and try to get inside. Also, keep in mind that Ruiz Jr. is the epitome of "never judge a book by its cover".
