- Experiencing rejection can feel like a dark cloud hanging over our emotional journey. Whether it's due to our skin color, background, name, or occupation, being turned away by others can be deeply painful. It's not just a sting-it's a thunderous migraine that shakes our sense of worth. Rejection doesn't just hurt on the outside; it can make us feel inadequate on the inside.
Despite knowing that we are created in God's image, we still grapple with the desire to belong and be accepted within our communities. Often, we overlook where our true acceptance resides: in God's unwavering and unconditional love. Revelations 1:5 reminds us, "God loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood." This deep truth shows just how much God loves us. It gives us the comfort and reassurance we need when we feel rejected or hurt. And Isaiah 41: 8-9 gives us the reassurance that God has not rejected us!
In this episode, Subhas Dirinamai recounts his journey of attempting to overcome his grief-stricken life through his own efforts. However, upon surrendering everything into the hands of God, he experienced a profound transformation that liberated him from all his addictions.
