These embellishments are awesome. Cracked up when you said it was 90 degrees and you are wearing long sleeves. I to live in Florida and we know that all we have to do is blink and the weather changes by 30 degrees. Hang in there, the kids will adjust easier than we will. Stay safe and take care of yourself.

These are some of the cutest embellishments I've ever seen! A little advice from an old lady about the state of things, because I can tell you are struggling with it. It's horrible and we all must do our part to protect ourselves and others but if we fixate on our fear we can't live within our confines. Find your gratefulness for what you do have because family is everything! Stay safe, well and grateful because you are truly blessed.
J is so right. And this is true - pandemic or not. Many many years ago, Oprah Winfrey had a few programs on the value of keeping a Gratitude Journal. The best I remember, you were supposed to write down five things that happened THAT DAY that you were grateful for. You couldn’t just write things like “family, friends, groceries, etc.”. It had to be specific things. Like, instead of just writing, “my husband,” you were supposed to write something like: Today I looked out the window and saw my husband looking under the hood of my car. He was checking the oil, the wiper fluid, the belts, etc. I am so grateful to have a husband who cares that I am safe when I drive. I never have to ask him to check these things or wonder if my car has enough oil in it. I just know that he has taken care of these things and I’m grateful. That is, of course, just a made-up example, but that is the type thing you were supposed to write. Several people were featured on later episodes who talked about the benefits they found in doing this. I specifically remember one couple who had been married for something like 35 years and were at the point of divorce. They decided to do this project as a last resort to saving their marriage. Each night each of them wrote down five things about the other that they were grateful for. I still remember them sitting there, holding hands, and talking about how doing this was a life-changing experience for them. It had shown them that the very things that were a part of their spouses individualism that had made them fall in love with each other were STILL a part of each other. They had simply, somewhere along the way, started focusing on the negative aspects of their spouses personality, rather than the positive. At first they found it difficult to write down five good things about each other but, the more they did it, the easier it became. Each of them said that this experience had resulted in them falling in love with each other all over again. My point in this long dissertation is that every day, when we wake up, we have a choice as to how we will deal with that day. We can decide to focus on the negative aspects of the day or we can decide to focus on the positive and be grateful for our many many blessings. I am certainly not indicating that I feel that you are negative. This was just a thought that came to me that I feel all of us (especially me) need to be reminded of today. I am grateful for you, Jenifer, for sharing your beautiful embellishments, as well as to Tina (shabbydabbydodah) who is always so willing to share her time and talents. As the new year approaches, may we all try to find at least five things to be grateful for each day. And may we make a commitment to record them in a Junk Journal!

gosh I love this kit the teacups are so cute. Those pick bags are to die for, I do love hearing the birds again, Cardinals Redwing blackbird, song sparrow are just a few of my favourites, I believe that was a Cardinal singing to you.

Hi Jenifer, gee, I’ve decided I like mass online! Don’t have to fix my hair or put on makeup 💄 Yaay! Love these embellies! I always get inspired by you and Tina! Thes are gorjuss! Especially with paperline you’re using! I’m a lot like you... start one thing and get sidetracked on 2 others! Makes me crazy! Can you please let me know how do you cut so many, many, many little pieces because l love tiny mini winny little images but cutting them, takes so much time and kind of start to hurt my fingers. I probably just overlooked this comment, but what did you use to get pink glassine bags? Love them. Did you make your own with the pink vellum on your list for Amazon? These are so beautiful and I would like to make some similar to these. We had "pajama day" at my house for my granddaughter today. LOL

To reduce your PDF Files down to a smaller size try this: 1. Open the PDF 2. Click on File 3.Click on Print 4. Under the Heading ' Page Sizing and Handling' 5. Click the Custom Scale and enter the number you want to reduce the size by. 6. Now Enter the number 50 in the empty box. 7. Then click the word SIZE Button under PAGE Sizing and Handling 8. NOW look at the Document size on the RIGHT side of the page and you will see that the picture has changed to 1/2 the size it was. 9. If you want it smaller try 25 in the percentage box and then click the SIZE Button again. It will now be 25 % smaller.
Just try a few different numbers in the box and click the size button and print them out and then you will know what size of percentage you want. I have used all different numbers in the empty box, like 85, 45, 75 and on and on to get the size I wanted. Once you print out one be sure to mark on the printed paper what size you used in the percentage empty box so you will know if you want that size or not..that way you will know what size that will reduce your pictures too. These are so sweet! I love the pink glassine bags... did you make them yourself or buy them? If so where could I ask? And if you dyed.. how did you do that? I love this digital set also and have gone to Etsy for those! Where is OohLaLaVintage Treasures store? I love all the little bits of lace, etc. You are very inspiring! I don't journal, but just love these to make for fun. Of course, I do make mini albums, so each one would be gorgeous as the cover.
