Just practice, first with training packs and free play, and if you want to try em out play 1s casual. I went from Gold to Champ by dedicating myself and honing In on fully understanding each mechanic. Trust me, the work is worth it

Golds are just below average, Rocket League has a very big skill curve. Only advice is do training and don't ball chase, good luck!
