"You"re all Artists and have good imaginations"....Thank you Robert, sometimes I really need to hear some simple words of encouragement to get me going!

You spark my imagination Robert! I'm going to make a box, but I'm going to bend the corner tabs inside, so the texture will follow onto the walls, and use a concave punch to round over my rivet.
Your delivery is great and the excitement of your projects still ring in your voice. . .and then into my energy level. Thanx Robert

I wonder if it would be possible to completely snip the corners out and use that bit of curl along the remaining edges to make a joining seam for holding the box together that way instead of with a rivet.

Why don't you quench the copper in water? From my experience, I get a softer copper if I cool it quicker.

What gauge sheet are you using?

Hi can I re-heat the copper to add more color later, if I haven't used any sealer?

Hi Raylene, yes, this should not be a problem as long as you do not have heat sensitive material inside the box. Thanks for watching!

I’ve always used ren wax but as you said it takes away some of the colors. What’s the best thing you have found to use for sealing??

Could you not just Solder at the instead of using the tabs?
    Love this bu the way!!

You most definitely could. :):):) It's just easier/faster somewhat for some people. It's also a style that some people like with an almost steam punk-ish look. But I like to solder the corners for my boxes as I like the clean edges as well as the fact that I make lids so, they function better that way too.
