I have found another bug: I was playing Mark Selby in the semi final of the Riga Masters and I only needed the blue to win the frame. I played a terrible shot and left the blue straight on for Mark, but for some reason he kept trying to play a shot off the side cushion to hit the blue that I had left right over the pocket even though he was not at all snookered (it was only the blue, pink and black on the table). He did this three times in a row and forfeited the frame. I know Mark hasn't had the best season but goodness me I didn't think it had had such an effect on him!

James Wattana is one of those players I've heard a lot about, he's always mentioned in BBC commentary, but I don't think I've seen him play except maybe in the Shootout, which is never a true reflection of ability, imho. Although slightly better than the video games' 😂
The game has improved so much now and the best thing is it will continue to improve. Just one thing though, the unneeded rest shots are still in even though the latest patch was supposed to have a fix. The problem is that there doesn't seem to be any animation for when a player would be stretching to play a shot ( one leg off the ground etc ) so out comes the rest.
I had that angled issue myself. My opponent needed several snookers and with 1 red left he angled me on yellow pocket. I missed twice and was warned I’d lose frame in I didn’t hit it, suffice to say I lost the frame. They are problems I’m sure they’ll fix. They could maybe tone down the AI aggressiveness. Going for way too many crazy shots. Other than that I’m very much enjoying it. Enjoying the vids too.
By the way, interesting episode, I ended up winning the Riga Masters having beaten Neil Robertson in the final! I also got highest break of the tournament which surprised me. Loving the content at the moment Joe!

What difficulty is this on ? Been playing my career on Hard with Pro aim with the latest patch some safety shots can be really good and force you to play a shot you dont really wanna play. Managed to qualify for my first tournament winning 4-2 after not having any luck in the first 4 need to work on positioning of shots certainly from the break and learn how much power to apply in certain situations.
Hi I’ve recently bought this have finding it hard to move around the table to see if the angle is good and is there an option after you have nominated a colour to change your mind couldn’t find it I’m on Xbox one thanks

It'd be fun if in the rising star mode they had some really dingy dive type venues with the bar and pool tables in the back and really crappy lighting. Look at Eurosport now with their Pool coverage where players are literally necking John Smiths

Wattana right leg is magically shape shifting through the table 😅 the developer's should never have released the game this week! It needs a good six months more development time or more just to fix all the glitches, bugs, dodgy AI etc 👍🏾
@@Arturo.Bandini even the balls look like there floating on the table. Physics don't look anywhere as good as Virtual Pool 4 and that's a 5 year old game. World Snooker 19 had so much potential but failed miserably!
Safety is a lot better now. Just have to maybe tweak how aggressive the AI is in regards to potting now. I would much rather they took on less long pots, especially the full table dead roll pots. I also had an incident where my opponent Mark Allen needed a snooker and the miss rule wasn't execute correctly. When a player requires snookers in a frame, the miss call shouldn't be called
I have been struggling to win frames let alone matches on the PC version. I was using a mouse to play with, and I decided to give it a try on my cinema PC using my keyboard only. The keyboard gives me a lot more accuracy than on a mouse. I have now made a 71 break and I have actually won 1 frame against someone. The console version is as I thought a lot easier, due to the controls. However, maybe it is me not being used to gaming on a PC especially using a mouse, or the game is a lot harder trying to go more accurate using a mouse. Overall my impressions of the game have now risen.

Got this yesterday at Argos for £23.99 on xbox one.loving the game so far.and I like the pace of the table.dont know why people saying it's to fast.think it perfect.just waiting for new patch as xbox one not got it yet.
Still loads of glitches. I noticed 3. 1. Player went through the table 2. Wattana weirdly picks up his cue and rest which goes through the table 3. Rest went through the red. The players also sometimes get up way too early after playing a shot. Commentary is decent though after the patch. It sounds natural for the most part especially with David Hendon. Why is the arena empty btw? Or was it my eyes lol. They seriously need to add atmosphere. It has improved after the patch with the crowd clapping regularly now after certain pots but still no way near good enough. They need to sort out the ball sounds, sometimes they sound okay, sometimes they sound absolutely horrendous. Also add pocket sound effects ffs. (After watching 10 mins of the video so may or may not be more bugs/glitches)
Playing online is good when you get in to it It ends in 20mins I needed 2 to get win then it was over It mucks online up really I believe it should be like 30mins or take it off all together I don’t understand why that’s in the game ? For online
I just like to that the macthmaking throw the day I just Carnt get online has I only play online macth the snooker game itself is so well balanced but online sometimes takes like 20 mins to have a macth there need to fix this just like pure pool other than that I would give it 💯

It's not that it's an arcade game, just those features haven't been added in yet. I can imagine they'd be quite hard to implement with the consequences of missing shots and misscues
But I’d still have to play all the matches? It’d be one video every few days, which just isn’t the style I want! This series will remain as it is, highlights would massively take away from the snooker imo
24 Hours in on Xbox X........Many bugs have shown in this game but none have really spoilt the enjoyment of it. I almost passed on it because the visuals looked so poor...... I ignore the look of the players & focus more on the look of the table,which isn’t bad to be fair.(Why the developer has omitted any graphic or visual setting is beyond me....where is the brightness & or HDR sliders?).

There isn't practice modes, there is a no aiming aid problem, it definitely isn't impossible to miss

Always play with less than 50% if playing with plain ball or top spin, much harder if using back spin
The PS4 noise isn't too distracting! My original PS4 sounds like a Boeing jet engine in comparison

Couldn't agree more, I think a 3 timeout system could work though, if you need more time to think - use a timeout
Edit them into a highlights thing maybe although I know that's tough
