- I'm Koimi! This is a vertical bag with no sewing! I made a lot of prototypes and came up with this length combination. I've been asked by many viewers to make a vertical bag out of a high brand paper bag, but it took me a long time to get the shape I wanted.
It took me a long time to get it just right. This time, I used that thing from Daiso... the soft card case that we are all familiar with on this channel! I used the largest size available, B4, but the finished product was small and compact, but with plenty of storage capacity.
If you have a favorite paper bag, a poster of your memories, or a picture of your child, you can use thick paper to make a bag of your precious memories.

2 soft card cases (B4 size)
2 pieces of cloth 34.5 x 45cm
2 bag handles (genuine leather type)
One hole punch
Dovetail punch (200 yen item)
Dovetails
Cooking sheet
Paper bag of your choice (Dior in this case)
Hair dryer
Hair iron
Double-sided tape for PVC (available at Home Depot)

A：「500ml満杯のウオーターボトル4本(容量としてははみ出ますが)を24時間吊るしっぱなし実験してみた結果、型崩れや破れるなどの問題発生しませんでした。かなり頑丈。持ち手だけで24時間・ショルダーだけで24時間どちらも大きな影響は無し。ただショルダー吊り下げ実験ではマチがすこーし開いた感じになって来たので、ショルダー使いの場合はガンガン詰め込まないほうが良さそうです。」

I like this idea. I’d make two changes: First I would use iron on vinyl and second, I ‘d use grommets instead of eyelets (pigeonholes). I would use iron on vinyl because it comes on a fabric bolt and provides more flexibility on size of the finished bags. I would use a grommet so that there is a cleaner finish on the inside of the bag. With grommets there wouldn’t be any jagged metal to snag a scarf or your sleeves. Cool project.
I was actually thinking this in the video, I'd also reinforce the eyelet holes for a bit more strength, if you carry heavy stuff in your bag like me! :D
I think I would add a fabric lining and/or maybe some snap fasteners
@@Zulf85 well remember she put denim backing on the paper, so that could be the "lining", unless you're meaning something extra?

はと目のやり方為になりました。100均ではと目が出来るよセットみたいなのが売ってるんですね。便利。今度やってみようかな。DAISOでソフトビニールバッグが夏場売ってたので買ってきて中にアナスイのショップ袋とか入れてコンビニに買い物用バッグにしてます。投稿主さんのはと目のやり方を教えてくれたから持ち手がビニールなのででもっとかわいくしたいなと思っていたので教えてもらって良かったです。

Wonderful instructions! (especially after I just watched a video about SEWING the vinyl...I don't have a sewing machine). I have a Hermes shopping bag and other than just selling it, I wondered how I could turn it into a purse/tote. I think I now have my answer!

@@KoimiDIY kind of, but if you’re buying parchment paper at a market it’s going to be a tad thinner than if your buying it at a craft store. Always buy parchment/baking paper at a craft store it’s just a tad thicker & more durable!
