In all, Sindel is a character who only wishes for the perfect life with her daughter and new husband, along with her new daughter.

Not really. Sindel was DEAD for the majority of Kitana's life. She was raised by Shao Khan until she learned the truth. The question is, how did she retain any goodness with no positive role models in her life?
