Exactly he put all the time and energy into that place. Should have has to buy him out. Mom should have had to pay him too. They decided to sell land just around the time of break from the marriage. I won’t watch that channel and if you want home grown beef n pork plus possible other types of animals soon Farmer Grade is there and it’s out of Iowa centrally located so shipping should be less.
We started watching you in 2020 during covid and my husband was still living with hospice support. He would only come out of the room when I would say your show was on. To be truthful we never watched because of Erin you taught us everything we wanted to know about cattle and we always were proud of what a great dad you were. We would stay up all night when you were do those 24-hour shows. You really should be a veterinarian you could do everything with the animals with all the vaccines and all the medical things you did was amazing. Hubby passed away two years ago and when you said you were getting a divorce I just couldn't watch the show anymore. I only keep the subscription on the other page because you said it helps with the kids. I will continue to watch your videos here from Florida because you and the kids made the other show and Jeff when he came to work the farm. You kept us glued to TH-cam

Im so thankful you're getting your feet under you and catching your breath, when your ready, we will be here. Of course, we would all love more content, (the price you pay for being so cool ya know😁) but for so long it was what you could do for us, good content, Interesting, Teaching, Hanging out and laughing... Now, Its what WE can do for you, and its well deserved! You are talented, fun, interesting, intelligent and so easy to truly feel like we are hanging out with you, not just "watching" its like hanging out with a dear friend, feet kicked up, laughing, sharing adventures and helping one another through the muck that we all have to travel through, if we take an adventure. Mike I too went through a divorce after 25 years of marriage. 1st husband was an alcoholic who didn't like to work. I was an RN so I supported our family. I stayed with him because I was Catholic and divorce was not allowed. However when he became physically abusive that crossed a line. I called a neighbor to help me and he called the police. Husband went to jail and that was it. I was alone 4 years with one daughter still at home and horses to care for. Met second husband and married him after 13 months. We like RV ing so sold horses and bought RV. I've seen the country with him and it's been great. I was 49 and he 59 when we married so he's 83 now and in beginning stages of dementia. We won't travel anymore because he's forgotten a lot of things.. So glad you still have a channel Mike so we can keep in touch with you.
Smoking will take care of itself, you are aware, you are working on it, when the time is right it will all come together, right now the relief it gives you is a small price to pay, you are doing great, we all see it and really know what you are going thru, it ain't easy so go easy on yourself!

Don't worry about the smoking, I smoke it's not great but obviously it's a habit we know we would rather not do, I just started vaping, hoping to lower the amount of smoke and smell. Seems be working so far, although I do have smokes as well, just not as much, and doesn't give off the same ewww they smoke looks ❤️

It's always good to see you! I know from experience how hard the adjustment is after divorce. I had a 36-year marriage when it ended. I've watched OWL a few times though it just isn't the same. I was going to order meat again, but I sent a question about something that isn't stocked anymore and never got a reply back; so I haven't made an order. I miss you so much. Always loved watching the new calves arriving, and loved Crackerjack so much. I wonder if he's still alive? Is Jeff still helping out? Hope to see you again soon!😘

I like the name ‘Beyond the Ranch’ because it shows you are creating a life for you and the kids ‘beyond the ranch’! Life goes on, though the ranch is part of you, and always will be.

Hi Mike!! I love the telegraph Q&A idea. One of my favorite aspects of OWL was when you'd take us along and talk to us while checking the cattle on those cold, snowy mornings during the 30 & 30. Being from a radio background, that is what you do, and you do it very well!! I'm so glad you have a cat living w/ you!! Cats make a house a home. See you on the next one.

It's always good to see you! I know from experience how hard the adjustment is after divorce. I had a 36-year marriage when it ended. I've watched OWL a few times though it just isn't the same. I was going to order meat again, but I sent a question about something that isn't stocked anymore and never got a reply back; so I haven't made an order. I miss you so much. Always loved watching the new calves arriving, and loved Crackerjack so much. I wonder if he's still alive? Is Jeff still helping out? Hope to see you again soon!😘

Can’t bring myself to watch OWL since you left. For 7 straight years I watched every video, I visited the ranch, stayed in the air bnb, my wife even got me a cameo from you for my birthday ahah.
