Do you know what, I would much rather see him mime, imagine seeing him in person and hearing the song as it was recorded, that would be unbelievable, it's no criticism he is an old man now and it's just natural, imagine a 79 year old car, it would be a bit beaten up wouldn't it !
Actually his voice is good but I think he strained himself in the first song in this show, so its really hard to get it back that night. I've strained my voice singing and it messes you up for every song after, you totally lose the control. I was shocked when it happened to me
I just think his voice can't do any more than this really. It's a pity cuz he can't just let someone else sing his songs... Bands like The Zombies and Sparks can still keep going with their old singers, but Paul destroyed his voice with his screaming and rock singing style and probably with smoking as well
I wouldn't say he sounds good. In some instances yes like on helter skelter and maybe im amazed his screaming voice is good but he lost his softer voice sadly. I think he should still continue though
Sadly his voice is totally finished now. Its plain to hear at 2:39. It's been pitchy for last 20 years as he aged . The vocals on very album since Chaos and Creation in 2002 have revealed his voice has been slowly degrading, Function of getting older, happens to everyone. I was at Spokane show last week and the guy has energy to burn. At almost 80 he is just remarkable. In his prime up to the amazing 93 tour he was unbeatable live as a singer. He is the GOAT. but even GOATS get older...
Who cares about his voice. Love this guy and the energy he puts off. You just feel like a better person when you leave his concerts. He is one of a kind. Timeless!!!
Who cares ? I went there to see this legend. He is a genius and and has been an inspiration and pure musical delight for many generations. No one even comes close. I was blown away by his performance and his energy level. It has always been on my wish list and I feel lucky that I finally saw him perform this Sunday.
@@CIS_22 i wouldn't even go to a Bon Jovi show for 20 bucks, but I also won't go see Macca anymore for 200, it's not worth the money and in my memory he'll always be the Good Evening Tour Paul, who could still sing quite well

Paul McCartney is a awesome singer and song writer and I remember Band on the run in 1973, when I was 7, im55now still love the song.
I was 14 in 1973 , I listened to it on the radio in our USSR. I had vinyl in 1975.
