The main difference while listening any music system with subwoofer is, it is designed to produce lower frequency sounds, the bars on left side on equalizer's we use to see, So obviously the one with subwoofer will give you more crispy bass sound and won't sheared off at high volume. If anyone has used Altac Lansing speakers 2.1-VS41221 model, I haven't heard bass like that in similar sound system 2.1 with that value of money given. that's the difference when some brand is labeled in any product.
