The Demon Slayer Databooks give us more info on our Hashira, like who likes or dislikes who. For Giyuu Tomioka we get an indepth analysis, like when it came to Rengoku, Giyuu really liked him and said Rengoku was very nice to him, saying similar words about Gyomei the Stone Hashira who Giyuu says he respects because he too was kind. The other person Giyuu seems to like a lot is Shinobu who he says talks to him pretty frequently, but he can tell something is wrong deep inside her heart that she won’t open up and explain. For Muichiro Giyuu tells the interviewer that he doesn’t really speak to the mist Hashira much, and the same goes for Sanemi the wind Hashira but specifically because he has a really hot temper and it leads to fights between the two. For the Sound Hashira Giyuu comments that he really envies his sense of freedom, and says he’s happy when Kanroji talks to him but she shows too much skin which makes it hard to keep a conversation, however the saddest one is his thoughts on Iguro Obanai, with Giyuu saying when he bad mouth’s me, It makes me sad.

Giyu Tomioka, or further known as “The Sad Water Man” isn’t actually the longest survivor because of his demon slayer mark which means, he’s going to die around 25 or whatever it was- so therefore Tengen Uzui, or further known as “The God Of Festivals” is the longest surviver of the Hashira due to his retirement

My favorite Hashira. I wanted Shinobu and him to end up together, and that in the end since it was just him and Sanemi left, they got to know each other better and became friends. Poor Giyuu, but at least meeting Tanjiro and Nezuko brought him joy again. 😢 I hate you Douma for killing Shinobu and her sister.

@@quack42069 He has to deal with sanemi and obanai saying mean things about him just because he doesn't show much emotion or speak a lot due to being a introvert and his sad past. Giyuu also has to deal with a 18 year old shinobu constantly teasing him about not being liked and not having friends due to his reserved personality despite being older than her at 21 years old. At least giyuu learns to open up more as the show goes on he starts to get used to tanjiro and others like rengoku, tengen and gyomi as well as muichiro despite the sarcasm ( that's a little rude coming from a 14 year old kid) who are nicer than others.
