I read several flight report of Garuda Indonesia first class and it's all telling that is a superb service. It's great to see GA changing with their quantum leap plan and they are on progress to catch 5 star airline. GA just got The World's Best Airline Cabin Crew 2014 award from Skytrax. For someone who likes the whole plane experience like me but don't have the money to fly first class, this channel is the closest thing to flying First Class. And was In-Flight entertainment system good? Keep up the great videos! I will always be there to watch them!

Hello, of all your videos and this being the first on Garuda Indonesia, I wanted to compliment you on this first (no pun intended since you flew in First), and to also add that I think your presentation and the organization of it in this video may well be the standard that others should strive to meet or beat. All of your previous videos have been excellent, but what I liked about this one was the linear progression that it followed and the seemingly simple conversational manner in which you provided us with everything you took note of. I know Homer and Amandeuce do great work, too, but I think your entire series tops the list. As they say in the US Navy, BRAVO ZULU! or well done!
As soon as the aircraft gets to about one thousand feet airborne all my tensions and stuff just melt away regardless of weather or whatever. Love flying.

I am a Garuda Frequent Flyer, as well as SQ, Qatar and also Emirates. I must say, I am very happy and amazed on how Garuda is improving now. It is up there with the best airlines. i'll be flying with GA to HND this december, not with first class/business class ofc..i'm a student haha (i couldn't even get the date i wanted, all flights are booked)...GA is pretty awesome with their selection of food (i've had a quite of food during flight from Sydney to Jakarta) the amenities sure are very decent; even the business class you'll get a bulgari pouch and l'occitane's products. i love aussie wines they have great wines imo. hope one day i can spoil myself with first class flights. cheers
that dop kit is dope :) and the caviar service, amazing. not even aeroflot of russia serves beluga caviar, or any kind of sturgeon caviar. kudos to geruda

Hi :) I wanted to expand briefly on the compliment that I paid you last nite. You obviously put a lot of time and effort into these videos and they are truly enjoyable! I have flown business and 1st class several times from the US to Europe via Air France and Lufthansa and it is a life-altering experience. It makes an otherwise wretched experience (for me at least) somewhat bearable and even enjoyable. I enjoy your videos #1 for entertainment, but #2 to try and combat my extreme fear of flying. When you say “turn up the sound!” as you takeoff my hands shake and my palms literally start sweating!! You are doing everything perfectly with these videos. The editing is great. I love that we get to spend time in the lounge with you before boarding. I love that you show the menus on board (slowly, so we can read it!) and I think you do great with explaining the food. I love the focus on the food (I own a high-end cookware company after all!!). I like the longer videos because you can really experience the time on the plane. One thing I would ask however, since you seem like a great entrepreneur, is that you give us some insights to the *reasons* and lessons from your trips. What companies are you going to visit? Why? How does this fit in to your overall product/marketing. I know you can only tell us so much because you don't want to give away any strategic ideas, but you can be vague about it and still let us know. I think this would be fascinating! Mix some entrepreneurial info/advice in with your entertainment! I think it could make your videos even 20x better. Just an idea! Please keep doing your excellent work and thank you! :) Jeff

Good video and glad to see Garuda getting a good rap. I've flown them a few times and always had a good experience. I have flown Qantas, Japan, Malaysian and although not flown First Class ( i have business class) I always tell people Garuda are on par with the others. I have watched a lot of your video's and they are great and informative presentations. All the Best

What a lovely video! Great explanations of everything and you have such a nice speaking voice. I've never flown Garuda, but I certainly want to now. Yes! The ground crew at Narita always waves good bye. I love that. Your Japanese was pretty well done too. And can I just say, thank you for having manners. I've seen a few videos of business/first where the passenger doesn't so much as utter a "thank you" or anything to the flight attendants. Looking forward to more videos!

Great report. Garuda has only just been invited to resume service to the US after a 14-year hiatus resulting from a FAA ratings downgrade. The international First Class product is clearly top notch. The catering is particularly impressive with the multiple menu options and the attention to fine details like the caviar service, Assuming Garuda opts to re-introduce the Bali HNL - LAX, or perhaps Bali - LAX direct, I am certain the B777 would be the aircraft used on the route.

Hello, of all your videos and this being the first on Garuda Indonesia, I wanted to compliment you on this first (no pun intended since you flew in First), and to also add that I think your presentation and the organization of it in this video may well be the standard that others should strive to meet or beat. All of your previous videos have been excellent, but what I liked about this one was the linear progression that it followed and the seemingly simple conversational manner in which you provided us with everything you took note of. I know Homer and Amandeuce do great work, too, but I think your entire series tops the list. As they say in the US Navy, BRAVO ZULU! or well done!
My heart beat faster when i saw such a beautiful creature as that plane. I love the look of a plane like that.
As soon as the aircraft gets to about one thousand feet airborne all my tensions and stuff just melt away regardless of weather or whatever. Love flying.

i'll be flying with GA to HND this december, not with first class/business class ofc..i'm a student haha (i couldn't even get the date i wanted, all flights are booked)...GA is pretty awesome with their selection of food (i've had a quite of food during flight from Sydney to Jakarta) the amenities sure are very decent; even the business class you'll get a bulgari pouch and l'occitane's products. i love aussie wines they have great wines imo. hope one day i can spoil myself with first class flights. cheers

Hi :) I wanted to expand briefly on the compliment that I paid you last nite. You obviously put a lot of time and effort into these videos and they are truly enjoyable!
I have flown business and 1st class several times from the US to Europe via Air France and Lufthansa and it is a life-altering experience. It makes an otherwise wretched experience (for me at least) somewhat bearable and even enjoyable.
I enjoy your videos #1 for entertainment, but #2 to try and combat my extreme fear of flying. When you say “turn up the sound!” as you takeoff my hands shake and my palms literally start sweating!!
You are doing everything perfectly with these videos. The editing is great. I love that we get to spend time in the lounge with you before boarding. I love that you show the menus on board (slowly, so we can read it!) and I think you do great with explaining the food. I love the focus on the food (I own a high-end cookware company after all!!).
I like the longer videos because you can really experience the time on the plane.
One thing I would ask however, since you seem like a great entrepreneur, is that you give us some insights to the *reasons* and lessons from your trips. What companies are you going to visit? Why? How does this fit in to your overall product/marketing. I know you can only tell us so much because you don't want to give away any strategic ideas, but you can be vague about it and still let us know. I think this would be fascinating! Mix some entrepreneurial info/advice in with your entertainment! I think it could make your videos even 20x better. Just an idea!

Good video and glad to see Garuda getting a good rap. I've flown them a few times and always had a good experience. I have flown Qantas, Japan, Malaysian and although not flown First Class ( i have business class) I always tell people Garuda are on par with the others. What a lovely video! Great explanations of everything and you have such a nice speaking voice. I've never flown Garuda, but I certainly want to now. Yes! The ground crew at Narita always waves good bye. I love that. Your Japanese was pretty well done too. And can I just say, thank you for having manners. I've seen a few videos of business/first where the passenger doesn't so much as utter a "thank you" or anything to the flight attendants. Looking forward to more videos!

Great report. Garuda has only just been invited to resume service to the US after a 14-year hiatus resulting from a FAA ratings downgrade. The international First Class product is clearly top notch. The catering is particularly impressive with the multiple menu options and the attention to fine details like the caviar service, Assuming Garuda opts to re-introduce the Bali HNL - LAX, or perhaps Bali - LAX direct, I am certain the B777 would be the aircraft used on the route.
