  • Underwater video taken with GoPro Hero 11, AOI 03 wide angle lens, backscatter Macromate Mini macro lens. Shore diving at Matahari Tulamben Resort in Bali. With shore dives that include muck, wreck and wall dives. From large fan corals to Frogfish, Nudibranchs and Pygmy Seahorse. In warm, clear, calm water for a fraction of the cost of diving at home. Highly recommended.

What a awesome video thanks for posting. Brought back some cool memories. Used to dive on the wreck with a guy named Avandy Djunaidi. He was a disability dive instructor and world known for his underwater photography and video. Top guy sadly passed in 2021.

Glad you liked it. Sorry to hear about Avandy. I last dived there over 20 years ago and it was great to see it hasn't changed as much as a lot of other spots. I think I won't wait so long for the next trip :)

Everytime I see the shots I think "No way, this had to have been shot on a DSLR" haha. Hey AOI just came out with a brand new wide lens! It has anti reflective coating for shooting in shallow waters. Beautiful shots!

Thanks. Ill have to check out the new lens. I'm waiting to see the new DJI Action 5 and maybe by sounds of it a new Insta 360 Ace Pro 2 before I decide on if I get the new GoPro 13. AOI now make brackets for those cameras as well.

@@seanpe80 Nice Ive been looking into those too. Especially waiting on the ace pro 2 for the underwater color correction. The only problem with those cameras is there's no 5.3k. There's 8k but low fps so no point really. 5.3k has 91% more resolution than 4k so for that reason I'm sticking with GoPro for now.

I agree and the other issue is how to mount a macromate. I also like Gopro labs to be able to lock the white balance. Every year I see if DJI and Insta are worth trying and they never quite make it. If I wasn't mainly filming underwater the new DJI might be worth changing but I've ruled it out underwater. I will likely get the 13 next week even if its just for the better battery life than my 11. I am keen to see what Insta 360 can do with a larger sensor but Id still want a little more control added and work out how I can get a macro lens attached. I'd be keen to get better lowlight performance in caves. I've also been waiting for the Max2 for what seems like a lifetime as the X4 just wasn't quite good enough for me to commit to. I just need 1million more subscribers and then I can afford to try them all hahahaha
