All green day albums have great tunes on them. Its only that the 2010s have really bad lows in them. And so do the 2020s i guess. But lets wait for green day to release a new album, i hope its good.
Yup he was!!! Damn we just saw like 4 seconds it seems like he was saying widespread panic! Mass confusion but we didn’t hear it well!!! At that point the songs of Insomniac were written it would’ve been awesome hearing them play more of those on sound-checks or concerts
@@chrisorobello8559 close. It wasn't on TV until late December. A lot of us had to set our VCRs because we're traveling for Christmas. Amazing how many people have this same experience and memory.

Yeah, the sticker is in a lot of late '94 live and promo shots; I'm guessing the "FUCK" portion is so weathered because he was pressured by several TV stations to remove it since it would be a pain in the ass to censor in every shot.
It's funny to see them sober and not off their heads on speed during the gig.
And not doing the Billie Joe strumming between lyrics. Which the desire to move frantically and often is a symptom...hence the street name.
That blue strat of billies will live forever.
The look the sound the punkness of it
Long live BLUE
legendary guitar
8:09 hearing this solo with no instrumental/vocals backing it is unbelievable. I always love how simple and complex it is at the same time.
It sounds so good, now I have to go learn this part on guitar lol
@@anthonyvukmanich9357 it's suprisingly not hard. The second half is slightly, but for the most of it it's a modified power chord shape
@@nichasatummyache2510 yeah after I commented this, I started watching some cover's on it, it does seem fairly easy. I'll figure it out. Thanks man
may i ask, what song was that solo from?
@@renq4191 coming clean
Man all those first album songs are so freaking good...I remember watching jaded in chicago on mtv in November of 1994...what great times for music
Slappy Hours & Kerplunk are awesome

My personal favorites, after Dookie, yeah kinda downhill for me.
Imagine moshing with that crowd. SO crazy.
I know, looks nuts.
Coming Clean adlib part at 8:10
Labeling this video as just Jaded, then opening it and hearing Holden is a fantastic surprise. 😅
Setlist:
Who Wrote Holden Caulfield? -0:34
Geek Stink Breath- 5:10

He's playing a short section of Panic Song in the beginning! Possibly the only live clip of the song ever!

@@aw674_ yeah he was check at the notes and try read his lips!!!! Awesome??
@@DAMIANTORRESXDCHILE yeah i can make out the notes but i cant read his lips ahaha
I hope one day to hear that song live and then I can finally die in peace.
The fact that all of it sounds just like the studio version is awesome to me.
I remember watching "Jaded on Chicago" on TV in 95....adding this video to that, is just fantastic...great stuff
Thanks for sharing...
It was late November 1994

F. Awesome stuart and the ave 1 year before it was realeased!!! 😸
And geek stink breath
Should be on the setlist. One of the best songs he's ever written. And at that age as well.
2:30 omg i love this part
Looks like a Covid concert...
It was the Covid94 concert. Most people don't remember it. Only took 2 days to flatten the curve.
3:12 "HEY ROB, you see this? you see this? suck it!"
5 seconds later: "how ya doin randy? c:"
3 hours before the drugs
I HAD NO IDEA THIS EXISTED
Well yes that's because it was only just released for the first time. Alongside the FULL Jaded in Chicago concert.
Did not realize they played Geek Stink Breath that early
they started recording Insomniac in late 1994
Insomniac existed alongside Dookie
Some songs for dookie were written in 93. Thats way before any of insomniac was written.
The song I don't wanna fall in love was originally gonna be in dookie but It endup as a Insomniac b side
@@s-dewwell actually pinhead gunpowder played a proto version of geek stink breath, it's kinda cool
edit spelling lol
@@s-dewthey were all written in 92-93. they finished recording dookie in the fall of 93

Holy shit
8:35 - 8:44 average band practice
more like 8:35 - 8:55 to include the communicating through sped up riff
Fucking awesome!👌💚
4:26 lmao he was saying the same exact shit in the show
8:45
Sounded a bit like panic song at the very beginning, would have loved to hear that.
Where did you find this?? Amazing
It was leaked by somebody who worked by MTV in December 2020(I think) but they were taken down.
This is a reupload
What is he saying at 7:42? All I hear is "how you doing Remy?"
Also at 11:10
I think he says Randy not Remy, and he's talking to the guy running the pa system
Why does Mike think that stupid building built inside out joke is so funny...he says it during the show too
Yeah I can’t even figure out what it means lol

I lived this Green Day. Sad to see them become what they did.
Echoooo
Where has this been?
Sitting in MTV’s archives
Does his guitar say Fuck Metal?
It does. He put it over The Muffs sticker around late 1994. He removed it sometime in 1995

Hey Billie Joe. I know you come here.
