‘Useless’: Government adds around 300,000 ‘jobs’ as cost of living continues

  • Sky News contributor Evelyn Rae slams the “useless job” the government is doing as they add around 300,000 government jobs.
“I saw we have seen an increase in employment but I think it is because we have added, what is it, 300,000 government jobs,” Ms Rae said.
“Who the heck is footing that bill?”

Albo you are the weakest link You are finished

    • @SammySlamma92
      @SammySlamma92 15 วันที่ผ่านมา

To reiterate how weak Albo is, let us look at what he has achieved while PM:
      - Largest wage increase (+3-5%) since 2007 (+5.6%, aka Rudd/Labor)
      - Tax return increases (reduction in tax losses)
      - Increases to paid parental leave
      - Early childhood education subsidies (parents able to afford pre-school education)
      - PBS rebate guarantees (ensuring medication prices don't increase from $20 to $200)
      - Reduction of HECS debt. (Erased hyperinflated indexation of 2023, saving students tens of thousands of dollars each. Aiming to cut billions more from HECS debt). As someone with a high HECS debt due to a costly degree, I would have to pay almost 20% of my income after tax to cover just the indexation on my loan, before even paying off the loan itself. It is physically impossible for me to pay off my HECS loan at this point unless I give up my apartment and go live in shared accommodation with 4-5 other people for the next 5-10 years and live off 2 minute noodles.
      - Extremely low unemployemt rates of 3.5%. The last time Australia experienced unemployment below 3.5% was just 1973. That is 52 years ago.
To reiterate, Albo, as the "weakest link", has been responsible for the lowest unemployment rate in Australia during the last century, the largest wage increase since the previous Labor government, reduced income tax, increased wages, improved parental subsidy programs, reduced HECS debt, ensured PBS payments did not increase, followed by a thousand other positive and beneficial programs.
Please state precisely in reference to policies, how exactly Albo is the weakest link?
The only way Labor loses the next election is if Australia chooses to allow the power of complete ignorance, intolerance, xenophobia, hatred, bias and a sheer lack of compassion/empathy to dictate your lives.
Ask yourselves, do you actually have the ability/capicity to care for your fellow man, woman and children, or is the only thing that matters to you is yourself, your family and your personal gain?
I will have you know, that regardless of our difference in political beliefs, views and opinions, I personally care about your life and the lives of your family, as much as my own, which is why I stand behind the party that plans on helping everyone, from the homeless, to the poor, to the struggling and all the way up to the middle class.
A vote for the LNP is a vote for the rich oligarchs (ie. billionaires, mining magnates, News Corp/Sky News/Fox News nepotism babies) that seek to ruin this country in the foreseeable future.
The next time you see the news promoting/protecting a policy, go and find the piece of legislation and read it in its entirety before you make an opinion. All media is inherently based in opinion, whereas facts are born solely in reality (ie. Legislation can't lie because it has to define every single line of its intention, functionality and process or it doesn't pass the floor).

What Jacinta is looking at “I believe firstly, & also on a broader level the Government expenditure after, & during this time”etc.
~Is firstly looking at the corruption, & exploitation of the Gov expenditure within the Aboriginal communities….*(That for far too long since the beginning of the policies form between the the government)~ A lot of the elders, & the organisers who have set-up businesses etc that is supposed too actually help the indigenous peoples have simply being rorting, & exploiting the system in-order to keep a big chunk of the money for themselves; And never actually trickling down too the people on the ground who actually need the help! *(Simply because the government’s over the years have been too afraid of questioning where the money has really been going, & asking for receipts because they’ll be called racists if they ask anything of the aboriginal people who are in charge of these organisation's) etc!
*(Goodluck, of these corrupt aboriginal leaders for pulling that crap on Jacinta for asking for receipts etc now)! *Dutton has finally made the right decision and found someone who is qualified, & willing to pull them up in their tracks, “ as they say”!

I spent 25 years in the Defence force, and have just been recruited into the APS for a very unique specific role in Defence that can't be spoken about in a public forum, while I agree with you, you need to understand more too. Yes, I do disagree that it's part of Albo's employment ratio number given to the nation, it's not building anything...but with Bowen and the whole Labor party 'building for Australia plan' nothing will ever be built in Australia again.

LNP increased the debt by more than 4 times in this period, which is the single largest increase of debt in the world.

Spending was down through the year, so black Friday, people spent on Christmas presents.and on other things while cheap sales were around. It sounds good when you say black Friday had its biggest sales.
Biggest sale of cars? Well, I guess over a million migrants since 2023 moved here, so you'd think there would be a lot of cars being sold.
And there would be plenty of Australian migrants travelling backwards and forwards to their homes of birth...
