Honestly these players and characters probably could make an entire season of just hanging out at a club fun to watch.
Aabria point-blank put a bounty on her ship and declared she was gonna sail directly into her fellow player.

Alex does seem a lot luckier this time around, although when it counted, his roles for Jasper got him out of pretty dire situations. Jasper was a sledge hammer, where Isaac so far seems to be a nail gun.
I can see Jason is keeping the story a bit tighter this time around, no gunning for Baron, no upsetting major Camirella figures. Perhaps it's more motivation by the characters than anything.
Really like the new players. We've spent almost 14 hours with them and I feel like we're still just getting to know them.
@@monitor4984 Hate to say it, but I'm glad there isn't really an 'Annabelle' character. Erica was doing what her character was supposed to, so she was doing great in that sense. But after season 2, Annabelle had become a point of frustration for me.
I agree it is a much more grassroots beginning, although Isaac has some considerable resources in comparison to the others, he seems content being low key at the moment. I've very much enjoyed it. They are all great in their roles, Aabria and Alex having some considerable experience, but they are taking time to come into these characters. I really like Isaac and his solo segment was great.
Besides Annabelle, the last set of characters knew exactly who they were and... well B Dave is a hell of a driving force lol. Alex had said, I believe in a prior one of these, that LA By Night originally started out more intentioned like this, where they went around and dealt with low level stuff. Apparently, B Dave going after the Valley really steered the series in a different direction, which then led to Alex taking out Vanavaurs Sheriff and that just flipped the whole show on it's head haha.
Only if the nail gun is the Javelin from Dead Space 2.
Every time Aabria gets to describe something SHE'S SO FUCKING ELOQUENT!!!!! I could listen to her discuss this shit for hours and hours. I aspire to have a vocabulary like hers one day.

Omg, I wish there was another show where we can see the "level up" or "behind the sheets" kinda concept where we can see the things that these guys do to their character and how they move from there. It could be a end of season thing so we aren't "spoiled" it could be helpful to all newbies and maybe even the vets to TTG

She is so magnetic to watch because of all her whispers and facial expressions. If you're someone who just listens to the episodes you miss so much of those fun moments.

5:17 If Alex is having multiple voices for Issac’s beast… the Beast usually sounds like your sire. If I’m remembering LA right, the only time we’ve seen it not be that has been Xander’s Malkavianness, and I seem to recall Nelli G hearing the voice of the kindred she Diabolerized. Since Isaac isn’t malkavian the implication would be….
Club AUspex is about just gradually breaking Alex and making him corpse as much as possible.
Great insight as always! It's so sad that we have to send this coterie so soon... The season finale... It was such a blast to see, feel, and hear what each character do in real time. Can't wait for season 2!
PS. Just hearing Alex shouting out of camera "I'm coming out!!" gives me glees of joy 😊
I love all of them but my favorite will always be Alex both in this chronicle and the last. He's such a good actor and player.
Mayanna is the Annabelle of this show cant stand her. And her forcefully pg rated role playing.

i love fuego and serif, rey is taking some getting used to, but seeing more of his backstory enlightens the character choices

Omg I can't stop smiling! The chemistry between the players is fantastic and getting insight into their choices is always fascinating. I would love it if Ash sat down to pick Jason Carl's brain in the finale. I'm so curious as to his thought process when he's crafting the story and the NPC's. Also a shout out to Aabria for using those SAT words; every episode she's on I'm like "oooh that's a fancy word! Hold on let me google that."
Can I just say, I absolutely love the way Ash talks? Her cadence and tone, and then every so often we get like a syllable or two with a slight drawl. It's just... So beautiful and lovely to listen to.
Very happy to see Alex and Mayanna in the same interview. I love them both. They vibe well together.
Also Joey and Aabria are great together. I shipped it minimally while watching this season, but Club Auspex made me FedEx that shit lmao I love how they both had to make the same kind of choices regarding revisiting tjeir human side because they both "lost" something prior to their bottle episode.
The discussion with Joey and Aabria about the fact we saw what each kindred does when the masks they put up in front of the coterie as a whole aren't there is /absolutely/ the reason I love the episode of vignettes as much as I do
It's so fascinating to see what a character does when they think they aren't being watched

I am lovin' the chemistry, respect and being a fan of the characters portrayed by their fellow cast members, that the entire table displays ❤ You guys are great and wholesome.
A longer season would be nice, but I can imagine the reasons for keeping it short and tight. Quality over quantity. I will be definitely looking forward for more.

Is Mayanna's last name spelled Berrin or Beren? Because I thought it was Berrin, but I just noticed that in the descriptions of this video and Club Auspex Episode 5 it's been (potentially mis-)spelled as Beren.

It'll probably be the season finale, most likely, with individual epilogue modules, like LA by Night
Because it won't. Season 2 with the Camarilla characters is later this year, unless plans change.

Why is this mixed so quietly?
Ok, loved the episode, but... really, next episode is the finale?! Only 8 episodes at 2 hours each, compared to what we got with LA By Night? I was expecting at least 13 episodes, and this format feels rushed; at least for me. I just want more vampire, and more of these characters
i mean technically the first seasons of LA by night were also just 8 episodes long but we had epilogue episodes that basically did what this episode did so who knows maybe we will see epilogue episodes again
the only big difference is just the lesser time but honestly I feel like the ny group is getting the same amount of stuff across with the lesser time cause Jason has been able to get a decent focus on the story where this group is on a mission they have been focusing purely on the mission for now

@@kylekoolwick8555 Yes and no - there was a massive opportunity to unearth more about Torque, Callahan and the Wight by interrogating Simone at the Club but Persephone Valentine dominated the scene so much that it was lost and probably went in a different direction than Jason Carl was wanting
@@thisandthatandotherthings one point I would bring up is persephones character was maybe a year older than Issac so when it comes to the wight I don't know if she would have had any knowledge cause so far the only ones who knew anything about wights were extremely old vampires and a ghost but who knows she could have been more of a info dump than we thought she would be but because of the fight going poorly it cause that part to be dumped

Im watching this instead of la by night where SPOILERS Jasper gets seduced by Victoria in the s1 finale… I can’t watch it it’s literally painful for me to press play.

For me this Accesory doing something that Fuego is less understandeble... lisps a litle? Regardles looking silly for me but that is something for everybody hearing not.
