My breast tissue is dense too, I found a lump and asked for a mammogram and ultrasound. They didn't want to do it on a woman under 30, initially. It was a fibroid, thankfully nothing malignant. You have to insist on these things and be your own advocate, like Debbie said. May she rest in peace.

MRIs are the best to find cancer in dense breasts even though some doctors will not do the testing.

That is scarry i have lumpy breast also and they hurt..butvthat does not mean i have breast cancer but it is something to think about
