Sandvik QE340 screening foundry waste and removing ferrous m

  • this video shows a brand new Sandvik QE340 scalper screen removing fines at 1/2" and oversize at 3" with the medium size product running under an overband magnet to remove the ferrous metal. The oversize product is processed by a excavator mounted magnet and the fine product is stockpiled by an Edge TS65 track mounted stocpiling conveyor. The installation is a replacement for a Fintec 640 scalper screen. The screen is being fed by a Cat excavator.

    you should put a magnet on your oversize belt too. that way you get some more out of it. only if your making money on it I guess.

    What foundry was this? Was it an old slag heap?

      It was an old foundry site that had been demolished. This was decades of dumped foundry sand

      It's a waste product at this site. It was all about metal recovery here
