Hi! I'm making these for my mom :) I just began right on our school break and it's not as clean as yours, but I'm very happy with what I've started so far. Thank you for making this tutorial concise and beginner-friendly, you have the sweetest voice to listen through!
What a wonderful gift from your mom! I’m sure she will love it. That’s so thoughtful. I’m really happy to hear you find the video helpful and thank you for your kind words!
I have seen many, many, many tutorials on bags however, this is the clearest one I have come across as you take us through stitch by stitch. Especially going around corners, which can very easily get tricky for beginners. Thank you for doing this at a slow easy pace. Can't wait to see your other tutorials now :-)
Aw, thank you so much! I'm really happy to hear you found it helpful. Thank you for watching and for your comment. I'm here if there is anything I can do to help. Happy crocheting!

Hello. Thank you for the amazing video and clear instructions. I really enjoyed it. I finished my bag using your tutorial. However mine looked a bit different because I used polyester yarn.
Hey x I love this tutorial. Thank you for your time. Just a quick question? What size hook are you using?
Hello and thank you! All the details including the hook size can be found here: jototheworld.com/flower-granny-square-bag-crochet-pattern
I start to croshet the Same bag as you do with 3.5 hock but he was broken and I bought another one with 4 dogs but I can't have the same square measure so can you help me plz to get it all the same measure?
Hello! This bag was designed to be made with an I/9 (5.50 mm) crochet hook. You are welcome to try something else but the overall size, look and feel of the bag may be different.
An old friend and I are taking a cruise and we are going to have a stop over in Halifax. Isn’t that cool?
I really like the yarn you're using, would you be willing to share the specific yarn you're using?
Thank you! Yes, absolutely, all the details including the specific yarn I used can be found here: jototheworld.com/flower-granny-square-bag-crochet-pattern
hihi when doing the strap, how come its better to do it in the backloop?
Hello! I found it better to work into the back ridge loop of the chains when doing the strap so there isn't a big, unsightly gap.
Hi! I'm a beginner, and made it to the border. I'm a lefty and had to work on the border going to the right with my stitches. Is that going to create any problems? Thanks! You are such an excellent teacher ❤
Hello! That's wonderful to hear, thank you so much! Perhaps some left-handed crocheters can chime in and help. I really want to help but I wouldn't want to provide you with inaccurate information.
@jototheworldcreations so far so good! Except forgetting to add the second strap and having to pull a round out, then forgetting which side is the front. 😂
That's great that it's going well! I recommend placing a stitch marker on the front side to identify which side is the front :)
Why is important to know where is the front? Looks the same. Ty for this wonderful tutorial:)
Hello! It's important to know the front for a couple reasons. If you ever wanted to make the squares in different colors and wanted to alternate the squares in a specific way, you'd want to know which side is the front. Indicating which side is the front also helps you follow the pattern for joining (where to start and end) so that the joining seams are going in the correct directions and for following the instructions for the border/straps. You are correct though, if you make the squares with all the same colors, it does look the same on both sides. :)
Can I know the materials of this project including the size of the hook and wool? I really love this bag and I want to crochet it!❤
Absolutely! All the details including the hook size and amount of yarn required can be found here: jototheworld.com/flower-granny-square-bag-crochet-pattern Thank you and I hope you enjoy making it!
Beautiful pattern! Can you tell me which yarn you used?
Thank you so much! Absolutely. All the details including the yarn I used can be found here: jototheworld.com/flower-granny-square-bag-crochet-pattern
@@jototheworldcreations Thank you so much. But I can't seem to find "Loops & Threads" yarn... Is it somehow local to you?
Hi! I purchase mine at Michaels. You can use this tool to find a good substitute: yarnsub.com/ Hope that helps!
I don’t see where you added the second bag strap.
Hello! By following the instructions in each round of the Border & Strap section that say repeat from * to * around, you'll be adding the second bag strap :) If there's anything I can do to help, please let me know.
Can you pls tell me the quantity of each colour that is required
Hello! Absolutely. All the details including the quantity required of each color can be found here: jototheworld.com/flower-granny-square-bag-crochet-pattern in the "Materials" section. Hope you enjoy making it!
How would I join if my granny squares have 3 chain spaces? 😢
Hello! For this bag pattern, you should only have 2 chain spaces in each corner of each square :)
@@jototheworldcreations yes I know. But I have some granny squares already made but have 3 chain spaces. Thank you by the way. Love the vid.
Thank you! Perhaps you could try skipping the middle of the 3 chains?
