Hi everyone! Here is my lovely two day trip to Busan! Even though it was snowing in Seoul, the weather was perfect down south~ I wish I could have showed you more, and you definitely can do more with a simple weekend in Busan, but I hope you enjoyed it anyway! Now I'm back in Seoul wishing for warmer weather!

I'm not sure if you were traveling alone in this vlog, but if you were i just want to say i really admire how comfortable you are with traveling by yourself! i'm a little scared to travel by myself but watching your vlogs it makes me even more enthusiastic about traveling alone!
yep, i was solo! my boyfriend is out of town for a week so i decided to take myself on an adventure :) and korea is a really good place to travel solo because its so much safer than other places - to be honest i'd be a little more wary of going alone to certain other places, its not easy!! hope you get out there more^^~ thank you!!

Forget Seoul, I'm moving to Busan! The amount of chills and number of screenshots I took - like, I don't even think i can express how much I am in love. Like, I thought Seoul was nice but - ohmyGOd. I still have chills. That Is the magicalest city I've ever seen in my life. (Also, I knew it was a mistake to watch this video without having food hahaha).
AND I DIDNT EVEN SHOW YOU HALF OF THIS PLACE the amount of random seashells used to decorate the city is insane and there is so much street art ahhhhhhgggg

This vlog was seriously so so lovely and calming to watch, especially with all the chaos of college apps right now haha. The clips of the beach in the beginning were so nice to watch and the cultural village looked so cute and the view from the tower and literally everything from the scarf to the french toast LOL im rambling but everything looked wonderful i hope you had a good time! next time, if you have a long vlog, it's okay if you dont cut it down! i'll watch any length vlog you upload haha~ have fun at the melon awards ^^

Yesssss super long vlog! Scarf finds are the best finds. I feel you on going the wrong way and climbing way too many flights of stairs. That view from Busan tower was super pretty! Love how it was right in the middle of everything. Honestly I love the sound of waves so much. I grew up visiting the beach quite often (summer baby!) and I think that waves and the ocean are probably 2 of my favourite things in the world. "Guess which one I just climbed up?" That part had me cracking up! So. Many. Colors. So nice that you can meet up with an old friend! I did find that some parts of Seoul felt a bit sterile so I will have to check out Busan when I make it back there. I can't wait for the footage of the Melon Music Awards~ Have fun!
i dont even want to think about how many stairs i climbed that weekend HAHAAH and i totally agree about the waves, in busan you can either see or hear the ocean/water no matter where you are - its HEAVEN!!

I tried to get tickets but they sold out so fast! Edit: Forgot to add that if you ever go up Namsan go the bathroom at the top...you will love it ;)

i booked on jeju air! but thats the day after christmas and its a 3 day weekend so tickets will probably be expensive because a lot of people will travel that day :/

yeah it definitely still has an older more natural feel to it while seoul is becoming more and more ~aesthetic only~
Oh I totally get what you mean, you see that happening in most of the big cities these days ,which is kind of sad, as I feel like it creates this global uniform lacking the city’s individual cultural charm (sorry for rambling on xD my architecture student self gets too excited talking about cities and identity haha)

Busan is another place in Korea that is worth visiting. If we're going to Busan, you have to think about taking a train. It looks fun. Busan has delicious seafood to eat. I want to try it once.

I've seen most of your videos and this has to be one of the best ones (this is coming from a filmmaker). You captured a lot of really great stuff and things seemed to come into place naturally. Most importantly it really seemed like you were truly enjoying yourself in Busan. A nice little escape from Seoul. Again really nice video!

for those who don't wanna pay to go up the tower, the lotte rooftop offers an almost 360 view of Busan. it's one of my fav spots there ^^

don't apologize for the long video!!! geez!!! i'm pretty sure there's no easy way to get up to the tower... when i went my bf and i ended up climbing the back steps, but we saw lots of cool street art going that way! but man this video makes me want to go back. i didn't get to taejongdae or the culture village, but i can't say i regret things i did see. i think the alleys in nampo were my favorite spots, just lined with plastic tables and chairs and food everywhere. haedong yonggungsa is also amazing! there's also apparently a more hidden temple with buddhas carved in the mountain but that's a whole day trip.

thank you! i use the app chromic for some shots but really busan is just a ridiculously colorful city :) i mainly use it at night for a little grain~
