Sandy Edwards was definitely in my top 5 out of all the characters of Prisoner Cell Block H not as low as 22. I loved how she went about getting things done she made an excellent top dog
They would have been Explosive together!,she could have been The Freaks Greatest enemy,even more than Bea Smith and Rita Connors.for a young Actress Louise Le Nay had maturity beyond her years,producers missed a beat killing her off and not bringing her back!,she could have stayed till the end.
I love Sandy Edwards, probably my favourite character along with Colleen and Myra. She had a real charisma about her and was an excellent top dog, I liked the way she got things done.
Hey Ryan, Are you subscribed to WentworthLife? They have a fanfiction type of show which follows the girls after the explosion and Rita becoming Top Dog and punishing Lou Kelly for the bomb. They use some of the characters from Prisoner Cell Block H, my favourite of which is Sandy Edwards, who ends up being Will Jacksons daughter from a teenage dalliance. She's such a good character on there. I think you'd be able to make a decent one Prisoner Cell Block H. A new season being told like a story and show a picture of each person when they talk etc
Sandy and Kate were an excellent addition, Sandy I'd place top 5 characters shame she left due to being pregnant. But it was one of Prisoners biggest shockers.
One thing ive only just realised is that sandy mustve gave kate the idea to put her in the bin. When kate was moaning sandy says "oh stop winging your better off carrying the bin than being inside it" and then thats when kate became unusually calm, which means her fear of sandy all along mustve been fake she just didnt want her true personality to show so when sandy gave her the idea of being inside the bin kate thought shed get away with it and could go back to her old self pretending shes sweet and innocent only it didnt work out that way and marie was smart enough to work out what happened!!
Sandy was a fantastic Character, and a great Top Dog, Bea Smith should have left for good,and let Sandy take over permanently,would have loved to see Sandy against the Freak!,it would have been Explosive!.Shame Louise Le Nay never returned she should have came back,after the Ballinger Siege and replaced Myra,she would have been a perfect Top Dog then better than Nora Flynn.
Kate killed her. She stabbed her and put her body in the bin. The rubbish truck came along and it crushed sandies body which is why nobody ever found her
The irony of that initial line from Sandy "we might as well be mates." Did not go unnoticed.
