Idk why they didn't just implement cutscenes from the old story designer mode into Universe, would've elevated the mode and should've been done nearly a decade ago. Backstage attacks, disagreements with the manager and so on would've made the mode feel more alive, less predictable and repetitive too.

I have set up some tag team rivalries and they just book 1v1 matches on RAW and SD and do the cutscenes on those matches
