You gotta' think, and figure, strategize and make corrections; all before you can get back on track. But when you do it's all so groovy because in the final analysis you realize it was just a character builder...I think.

I would think Kelly would be kinda bored with the ASP, like it just isn't a challenginig format for him. Hes actually struggling right now, comparatively, but by now he nothing to prove. But it makes the ASP look kinda bunk: no one wins the Super Bowl that many times, or anything in any other sport compares to how Kelly wins in surfing. Maybe there's a flaw in the ASP system, that makes it so easy for him? In a way, I think it suggests some credibility issues with the guys running the tour; how can one guy dominate like that, like its absurd at this point.
matthew cohen it's called "prodigy". think Jay Adams. he was so much better than everybody else yet he was being penalized for pushing the envelope. I'm sure that's one reason Jay didn't care about contests. makes you wonder if they want new blood for marketing.
Surfing can not be compared other sports or even sports,its gliding on a wave you paddled into and doing nothing or dancing,(its up to you) on a board is the original concept.The Stoke fom surfing is the main reason surfers surf,but competition is like a organized game of surfing.
