The potato in the hole without touching the red green task is the task that you would definitely show to people who haven’t seen TM before because it sums up everything great about the show. Also the “write and perform a song for a stranger” task, “give Alex a special cuddle” and “with this camera strapped to your head record the most incredible footage” tasks are amongst my personal favourites.
This one is a good one: **Build the Best Extension in 30 minutes - Full Task**. Rhod Gilbert and James Accaster clash a few times throughout that season.

There are so many good tasks, but honestly, they're much better when you know the contestants, and have followed them on their journey throughout the season. As soon as the task begins you know which people are going to be useless or hilarious.

This is such a great show. Each series has five guest for the whole series (Series last between 5 and 10 episodes), and each episode has five tasks, the final one is always a live task on the stage. Really hope you get to watch some full episodes. The dynamic between the guests and the taskmaster during the course of a series is great. I've seen every episode but will happily watch you two watching these. I really enjoy watching you watching UK comedy

I love the format. The show has been sold to many countries, some of them are outstanding. Special mention to Taskmaster New Zealand and Kongen Befaler of Norway. "Kongen Befaler" literally means "King Commands" but is also used as the equivalent of "Simon says" in Norway. Both of those are on TH-cam. There is also a season of Taskmaster US that features little Alex Horne in person (whose band is called the Horne Section and does indeed do the Taskmaster music.) Unfortunately, the US version is dire. Plainly no one involved really understood the concept. I'm loving your TM reactions and hope you can figure out hw to watch full episodes. Have fun!

The idea I came up with was a combination of two of those. Have a big sinister jack-in-the-box there... but have it empty and then jump out from next to the shed in a gorilla suit and wizard hat (or something not a clown) and screaming. Well. If I ever want to surprise someone I now have an idea, so this show is pretty educational.

You can find full episodes of the New Zealand series of Taskmaster on TH-cam. It doesn't feature Greg or Alex and the humour is cruder than the UK version but personally I think its the better series.
