I use Epidemic Sound for my music
www.epidemicso...
About me: I initially had a clothing company that tanked. However, that experience taught how incredibly expensive it is to outsource your content creation. This prompted me to learn everything I could about photo and video. Shooting video and photo was the aspect of the business I enjoyed the most, so I made the tough decision to focus on those disciplines. Just like you, I’m still learning but I still want to share my experience with you because I love watching videos basically anything related to film photography and video. I hope you’ve taken something useful from watching my channel. It’s been proven that subscribers to my channel are 47% happier than non-subscribers. Food for thought.
Happy Shooting, Zain
First, I wanted to say how much I appreciated hearing your story! You’re better at storytelling then you know. Second, I’m 26 and have had a lot of the same thoughts and feelings as you in regards to life and what I should do next… I also really appreciated the concept of looking at your 30s as an incredible opportunity! The older I get, the more I realize the value in self belief and consistency. Thank you for creating thought provoking work.
appreciate this comment A LOT!
This is dope man, love the storytelling. 30s not that bad, getting married is not that bad, but I hear having kids is a nightmare 😂 also, I’m definitely more in the “always figuring it out” group.
dude that means a lot coming from you. I think you're one of the better story tellers in our little corner of the internet so thanks haha. Having kids is no joke haha
@@ZainRiza 🙏🏻🥲
Dude this was seriously so good! Being the last of the millennials and being in my mid-twenties, I resonated with this video so much! I often go back and forth between being worried that I don't "have it all figured out" yet and finding relief that some of the most successful people didn't figure it out until much later. Whatever happens, I hope we can all be at peace with what is around the corner.
Ah mid-twenties. Loved those few years haha... Appreciate the support Reimann!
I'm amazed by your work, hats off.
Thank you!
As a married man with a child at the age of 36, I can confirm we are always trying to figure it out. It never stops. "Figuring out" our lives is always temporary. Maybe back in 1950 people could figure things out less by choice and by environmental factors. But these days we mostly have so much freedom and thats why I think our generation struggles with this comparing ourselves to our parents. Good work man.
You could also smoke indoors in the 50s so I guess it's not so bad now... Appreciate it dude.
Great work bro, strong message! On the flip side (zain future kids) "wow daddy took some bugi selfies mum"
Mummy, why is daddy so embarrassing haha
Amazing shoot
Thank you!
Great self documentary Zain! Really inspiring. I'm in my mid-20s (although I'm not sure when mid-20s end and late-20s begin), and I'm also constantly grappling with the feeling of being behind everyone else, even though I know it's such a common feeling no matter how old you are. The Bo Burnham quote also reminds me of a title of a travel book I read a few months ago called "What I was doing while you were breeding" by Kristin Newman.
hahaha breeding love that. Thank you for watching and I appreciate the love.
I call you a Canon A1 expert. So, my battery just died and the film won't advance. What could be the possible reason? As this is a mechanical shutter, it should still allow me to continue shooting?
I am middle of my expensive Potra 800 and don't really know what to do.
Also, when I am shooting full manual, for the light meter, whichever is blinking (either F.Stop of Shutter speed) that one needs to be changed, right?
I look forward to your response and I can feel when I turned 30, I was depressed.
This problem is super complicated and so is the solution unfortunately. So what you want to do is...change the battery haha. Unfortunately, the Canon A1 requires a battery to operate. Don't worry. Just change the battery and you'll be able to continue shooting no problem. There's a battery check button to the left of the viewfinder. If the red light blinks fast, then you have a plenty of battery left. The slower the light blinks, the less battery you have.
Hahaha the intro!! pure gold!
hahah i try
I had a little panic attack just few minutes ago when I realised that I'm going to hit 30s soon... and then I saw your video. Spot on! Thanks for saving me from those few more minutes of panicking! :)
haha I can't guarantee that the panicking won't come back but I'm glad this video was somewhat helpful 😊
really great video. i really liked the bo burnham influences. it's a really good idea to photograph yourself on the peak of your self.
being 30 is not the end. just the beginning of the end :D maybe i should do this also before it's too late. 😄
Beginning of the end hahaha. Only slightly less sad.
Amazing video! Great photos and message. I can so relate to this after hitting 30. I always thought I’m a decade behind in life, but maybe that’s fine~ I’m becoming more at peace with it haha. I should document myself too though, I always viewed myself as an observer, but hey, perhaps myself is worth observing too
Damn I definitely feel like I'm a decade behind as well. I'm glad this resonated with you as well.
Yup Zain…it IS the beginning of real life
😊
Nice.
THANK YOU
Cool
Thank you
So, is the NFT craze over yet?
what does that have to do with anything in the video?
