Regalia Wasn't the dad killed in a shoot out with Space Pirates? And the mother died to protect Samus from Ridley. That death happened in front of her.
I went back to it the other day. The sheer thrill of playing this again is amazing. It's as good, if not better than ever. The best game on SNES (and therefore better than anything on Mega Drive too 😜) without a doubt in my own mind. Link to the Past, Mario World, Mana and Earthbound can scrap for the places behind it.
