Que chingón! Yo tenía 17 años fue uno de mis primeros conciertos, estuvo poca madre. Recuerdo que teníamos una tocada y terminando el concert, nos fuimos rápido a tocar. Recordar es vivir.

Yo también fui a ese concierto , fué en mayo recuerdo que fué mi cumpleaños ,lo mejor de todo es que en la entrada unos señores ,que se veian con porte de las lomas o polanco ,me regalaron 3 boletos y así mis amigos pudieron entrar.Fue un viernes.
Ame ese concierto, yo fui uno de los que se trepo y un enorme hombre me aventó de regreso al publico

@@Susanasglez Jaja, seguro. Si no hay peor sordo que el que no quiere escuchar. No se escucha muy distinto a 1981. El error es juzgar a un cantante punk con criterios de rhythm&blues. Siouxsie y todos los Banshees nunca fueron acerca de la voz.
@@levgtz8158 El error es juzgar a Siouxsie por esta etapa donde ciertamente su voz está maltratada. Te invito a escuchar Juju, de ellos, tendrás otra opinión, es una voz genial, independientemente si es una voz punk o no.
He visto otros conciertos de Siouxie en vivo, y es el primero que la escucho completamente desafinada... Seguro que estaba bien esa noche???
El concierto estuvo muy bien pero de alguna manera los de MVS se las ingeniaron para grabarla horrible.

Yo estuve en el concierto y puedo confirmar que el sonido en el auditorio esa noche era sensacional! Los ingenieros de Multivision se las ingeniaron para grabar un audio horrible.

Love some of the later Siouxsie here but the guitarist is hopeless at McGeoch tunes. Plays like a metallist.

Con todo y ke amo su musica, todo hay ke decirlo....desafina terriblemente y en momentos parece ke se le acaba la voz..... aun asi, tiene la presencia y el carisma para aguantar el show.....
+Rilke Guillen Hola, tuve la suerte de estar en este concierto y el video no le hace justicia al audio original. No entiendo como MVS se las ingenió para grabar con tan mala calidad de audio. Traté de arreglarlo pero no tuve éxito. Disculpas.

No. Es debido a que fue adicta a la nicotina y eso lastimó su capacidad cantar.
Tristemente no venía muy bien. Desafinaba terriblemente. Se le notaba fuera de forma. Aún así, para mí, fue un concierto maravilloso, que disfruté mucho con mis amigos.
Allora, sentite, io la ascolto da 40 anni circa, dunque diciamo che "mi piace", in linea teorica e sentimentale. Ma. Ma la musica, nel corso dei secoli, può anche cambiare combinazioni matematiche fra note e cadenze ritmiche, e però la stonatura resta tale perché denota l'incapacità della cantante di essere coerente e incorporata, amalgamata, fusa alla armonia dell'insieme. Siouxsie purtroppo è un caso di questi: è stonata e basta, è stonata anche nei confronti delle proprie concezioni musicali dico, è stonata proprio e da sempre (dico, vi sembrerà strano, detto da suo amante qual io sono). Diverso sarebbe se lei fosse stonata in modo armonico come lo è Roberth Smith con la musica dei suoi Cure. Smith insomma, pur restando nella "teoria-prassi" della musica moderna stonata, è intonato, ossia perfettamente stonato ecco. Integrato. Susanna invece no, ohibò, è solo stonata, stonata dentro, ossia avulsa dal contesto, sempre o quasi, isolata, isolata. Amusicale, disarmonica, sofferente come una estranea all'arte sua. Ma la amo uguale. Bacetto, Susanna.
Siouxsie couldn't sing anymore, her voice was broken.
Itwasall ablur - By the time she got to "Kiss Them For Me", it was sadly true. She sounds OK up to that point, I wonder if there were monitor problems (she hated Monitors for some odd reason). She's done shows since this time where she still sounded good, even great. They fell behind, in terms of getting out on the road to support "Rapture" with the relatively sudden departure of (guitarist) Klein, who apparently had a beef with the label stemming from unpaid royalties (the reason he wasn't in the "Face to Face" video, too). It took them some time to get his replacement up to speed on their back- and current catalog, which almost certainly resulted in an accelerated (overloaded?) touring schedule. Siouxsie comes off a bit bitter and even defensive in the interview at the head of this broadcast, she was pissed at Jon (Klein), probably at the label, too. Just a few years earlier, the Lollapalooza tour became a much bigger success than everyone had anticipated, and they wound up adding several dates relatively last minute, which certainly taxed everyone, but most of all Siouxsie's vocal chords. When I saw them in Denver on that tour, she had to cut their set very short (around a half hour), which was quite a blow to all of us who especially wanted to see them. Thankfully, they came back to Denver six months later (man, that was a - dare I say dangerously? - packed show!), and as a gesture of good will they played an EXTRA long show to make it up to everyone who made it to that concert. That was absolutely the most amazing show I've ever seen (in this temporal realm, at least: what lies beyond is truly beyond words, but I won't get into that experience here: suffice to say, after having my spine crushed and my neck broken in a car accident, told I'd never walk again, after that (near death experience? still not sure how/why it happened) experience, I fully regained the use of my legs, and even went out into my backyard and did a backflip on my trampoline, something I hadn't done in over twenty years, to the initial horror, then delight of my wife and kids...but, again, that whole topic is beyond the scope of the comments section, but I do know that "death" here is certainly not The End, and that Love is a "Person", a real Being beyond comprehension or explanation...incredible pain preceded that beautiful visit, better to have one's soul in order before even considering THAT destination, Lies - especially the ones we tell ourselves - simply can't exist There, and having my entire pathetic, selfish, lazy life laid out before me like that was a taste of self-made Hell I never want to go through again). Peace and love to you all. I'm thankful this show is here for those of us who couldn't see them at that time (I had a very inflexible work schedule, and my lovely wife had just given birth to our second child, my oldest son, so I had to be content to hear all about their "Rapture" concert from my brother).
I will say, Siouxsie seemed to have a Sweetness and approachability, even a gentleness, during the "Superstition" tour that seems to be absent both before and after that time. Having expected the "Ice Queen" Siouxsie, I was pleasantly surprised to find just the opposite then, especially at the intimate Mammoth Events Center show in February ('92). She had an almost maternal quality, hard to describe. I can only speculate that temporarily becoming the "Tour Mom" during Lollapalooza had some kind of effect on her, maybe her time in India, too, from before that album was made. Nothing like seeing how rough life can be outside of the "First World" to inspire profound gratitude!
