Great to see how the road will look. Well done

Great to see this important infrastructure.
Now as the population expands in the south, here's hoping we soon see the extension of suburban rail as well.

Why not just build it as a freeway?

Look's beautiful, but I wouldn't even have to use south road at all, with the underpass.

Just too bad South Road, between the end of the Southern Expressway and Griffiths Dr/Robinson Rd is no good, with no hope of it being fixed in the foreseeable future ! ! !

No right turns is gonna piss everyone off

What no right turns are you referring to? At least the main intersection at Aldinga Beach Rd now has a right turn option.

@Aldinga Media most side roads look to be left turns only, communication to sherrif road you can't turn right from then or go straight across from one to the other.

Many of the smaller connector roads have right turn restrictions. But this is for safety. There are U-turn locations nearby to facilitate the right turn. They can't make all of the intersections full access without traffic control. The aim is for a safer road with no stopping.

What I don't get is the road on the way down south, there are no provisions to turn right out of side roads onto the upgraded highway...why didn't they build tunnels underground with a slipway on each side so cars could get onto the road. Looks like in order to turn right, you will have to travel a couple of k's to get a chance to make a u turn. Just by looking at the other recent video. What is going on. The other vid didn't allow for comments so am making them under this vid. Who was the narrow minded twit who didn't allow for right turn systems on the other proposed new section?

It's infrastructure. Build it or stagnate.
