Yep, its a Whaler!!! Alot of folks remove the bail, its was used to keep from dropping them in the water. Basically, a rope knife!!! There are spear point versions that are in yellow Delrin. But, it has a different tang number. Great find!!! That looks very Nice!! 👍👍👍🔥🔥💯🔪

The Case Whaler is one of my grail patterns. But I haven’t got one yet, every time I see one it seems to be too expensive for the shape it’s in. This one looks awesome, buddy! Great addition to your collection!!

That is a really nice looking Whaler...I don't see anything with "stainless" on tang stamps, but the Case XX over USA with no dots is 1965 to 1969...if there are dots above or below...1970's 9 dots 1971...8 dots 1972...etc. whatever the age it's a great knife in great condition...congrats....

Looks like 1970’s depending on how many dots there are on the bottom it will be what the exact year is. 10 dot would be a 1970 and it goes up to 1979 as you deduct dots.

@@watchcityknivesyou could clip a carabiner to it, loop around your belt loop and let the knife dangle in your pocket.
