I'm 53 years old with my 1st tractor, a 1948 TO20 . I love it and need it badly, though I haven't even heard it run. Watching and learning from your videos is the best!
Hi bundy. If you use a little heat around the housing the govenor seal will pop out with a little leavering. I have removed a few that way. Brilliant video once again.
What a great video Lance. Very helpful and informative. You will be responsible for a plethora of te20's all being refurbished during lockdown. As we all follow along with your great videos. Great work. 👍👍👍👍👍
The front seal is leaking on my 245, I was hoping there was enough room to change it without pulling the front end apart. After watching this I don't think that will happen. Thanks for the videos Lance, keep smiling.
Hi mr bundy...i have a tea20 having trouble with Governor not working great...turned the adjuster screw in til touches..doesnt do anything..turned it in 1 full turn works a little..do i keep turning it in until it works the way it should????
G'day mate just a question, why do they still use leather in the seals especially if they become very hard, and have you ever cracked a timing case when you hammered the seals in? Great to see you mucking around in the bundy shed you can tell your in your glory. John PS how is your weather . Regards John I'm going into hospital next Monday the 18th
Hi lance , I’m just serving my timing cover and round the adjuster needle on the side of the cover seized up. Any ideas on freeing up as don’t want to snap the screwdriver slot off ?regards mark, learning heaps from your videos and have now stripped my tea20 !!
I notice the governor screw on my tractor is broken. I can't find replacement ones online. Is there anything special about that screw? Could I have one made?
I think your the same as me I,ve got thousands of pounds worth of spanners sockets pliers but always seem to end up with an adjustable spanner or what ever,s closest to hand

Dad always said if you didn't make somewhat of a mess nobody knew you'd been working. Righto Lance, good one! :)
Good point, lol.
You're a great teacher, Lance. Thank you for passing on your knowledge and experience.
My pleasure!

Leather seems to last well if it doesnt dry out. Weather is good, getting a bit nippy though.
Hi lance. Is this the same process for the mf35 petrol? Do u think I need to remove the front axle as well?
Yes the exact same job.
Mr Bundy's bear I have some sockets for square heads which would have made putting in that wired in shaft holder a bit easier
I have some but use them so little I couldnt find them, lol.
Lance, Are there any differences doing this with a TEF that I should be aware of? Thanks for the outstanding videos!
Yes they are different but there is a free workshop manual on my web site might shed some light on it for you.
Hi Lance. Are there cast markings on the front of the timing cover re timing/piston position?
No you need to use the marks on the flywheel.
Hey Lance. Really enjoying this series. Wanted to let you know that this video is in the Fergie rebuild playlist twice.

Try gentle heat and by gentle I mean a map torch not an oxy.
