Thanks William, another great video of a really fantastic looking knife, I am going to have to keep an a beady eye for this one and great close up and detailed camera work. I hope you are keeping well. Take care Sam
@@WilliamsKnifeLife I ordered this one after watching this!Thank you so much. Also when I first subscribed to your channel it was on the Ontario 499 which I had but you gave out a lot of information on it😊🔪👍
It is a pretty good Barlow for the money! Mine has a small gap in the same spot. Better walk and talk than my other marbles barlow. Love the covers. The box is a little big!! but at least I can also put my marbles Zippo in there with the Barlow! Lol
Aha! I’ve been waiting for a review of this one! The SMKW website says 3.75”, big for a barlow, which would suit me fine. CKW says 3.5”. I’ve asked SMKW more than once, no response. Now I know. Dang. I guess I’ll try one of the whittlers. Gotta have something with those great checkered covers. Thanks, William!
I won't bother you with knife laws, safe to say they suck almost global. Great the Marbles came out with the checkered bone and a bullet shield on top of that. I really wanted knives in that nice bone for a long time. (not available as yet though) Not only does it look awesome, but provides grip as well. Thank you William.
Those look exactly like tWinchesters from about 3 -5 years ago. Beautiful knives and the cigar style box is the same also. I wonder if it's the same blade steel.
I don't think the Winchester knives had the steel type stated on them. They are the same knife though. There are more than just the barlow. I also have what I would describe as a sowbelly whitler. The third one I have is a trapper. It looks like one of the newer usa made queen big boy trappers, but may be shorter. The bone on them is gorgeous!
I picked up one of the expedition grade barlows. I really like the design and fit and finish however the edge seems to dull very quickly. Have you had this trouble.
I just got it!!I posted 3 videos and gave you a shout out in each one and your channel link is in description Videos are Tactical Thursday Shop Talk and Mail call part 1 and Mail call part 2 Thank you so much 😊🔪👍
It is a very attractive series, a nice size Barlow, thanks for showing it, William.
Thank you, Jose. It will be interesting to see how many patterns they come out with using Exhibition Grade.
Nice great looking Barlow! Love those covers!!!
They are nice, thanks, Mike.
Great Barlow, with the checkered texture and hand-filling grip. Thanks WKL.
Thank you, Byron 👍
I like that gunstock checkering, it's both familiar and functional.
👍
Looks like a little beauty, the checkering looks great, nice looking series. Thanks William 👍
Thank you, JP. I like this series. 👌
I really like this series.
It is nice.
Great knives and information!

Thank you, Sam. I hope you are doing well also.
@@WilliamsKnifeLife cheers William, aye all good over here, thank you🤗👍
Nice knives, thanks.
These are nice. Thanks for watching 😳
I think Dewey was saying "this box is now the property of YKM". 😆The covers on that barlow look awesome, buddy! Very handsome knife!
That's probably what Dewey was up to. A new club house for the YKM clan.
I like this new series a lot I call it the poor man's bullit knives but seriously they are nice the swing guard is pretty cool. Thanks buddy
That swing guard is on my list.
Man, Exhibition grade's a steep claim, but it does look good! Thanks William!
They did set a high bar there.
Love it!I really appreciate your videos brother!😊🔪👍

Thank you. The box is a lot bigger than the knife, but it's useful for putting other knives in once the foam is removed.
Good looking knife. I've been wanting to get one for my collection. Great video!
They are worth the price in my opinion.
The all look great! I was actually going to do a video on a checker knife today as well.
Great 👍
That’s a cool knife
It's pretty nice.
I just received the Marbles Exhibition Grade large Toothpick. It's a nice knife, but the blade is hard against the liner when closed.
That's not good.

Thank you, SU. Yes, their stats aren't always correct. Chicago Knife has a few of them also.

Thank you, Jeroen. Maybe Marbles will be available over there in the future.
To clarify my previous post there are several brand names under the SMKW banner that specialize in budget folders.

I think it's 440A

The model number of the barlow is wn29120c. Google can find it.

It doesn't hold an edge for a long time, but mine seem to act like a typical 440A steel. Maybe they didn't heat treat your knife to a higher HRC?
