      jpbigbang It has only been less thant 50 years since China was last at war. It is the same as it was then. Infact the Ming, Tang and Han Dynasties experiences decades, even centuries of peace and prosperity with its neighbours. Modern China has yet to do the same.

    I am an Indian and Drastically influenced by hindu religion but since I was 10 years old my heart has some attraction towards china, whenever i see the chinese architect,culture and specially yinang etc it seems familiar to me, even though I haven't gone to china in my life. Maybe the answers to my questions lies somewhere in this land :) wish me good luck for my journey to find the secrets of life :)

    This kind of music really tugs on my inner sadness. I don't know about anyone else, but to me this song is telling a story about a lone traveler. Many people know of their existence, but nobody knows their name or face. Nobody knows why this person aimlessly wanders around the country side; some people say they're searching for something long forgotten. The traveler has no friends, no family and no home; they live a live of absolute loneliness.
    One day, the traveler wanders through a town to stock up on supplies. Many notice, but none talk to the traveler, fearing that insanity has taken control of his mind. As he departs the town, someone stops him and asks if he is okay. The faceless travelers looks up at the person and says "Thank you". Confused, the villager asks what the traveler means, but the traveler walks away, never to be seen again.

      When I was 9 years old, there came a girl in our neighbourhood. She was as beautiful as a rose. She came from the Paradise of Kashmir(India). When I went to her home in Kashmir, I used to play the flute for her. We became great friends for life. After 4 years, we separated. That was the last time I saw her. It's been 7 years since I have not seen her. I hope someday she may appear. This Song Makes me Think about her.

How many time have I wasted. How many chance I let go. Dreams that never been chased, words that never been spoken, love that never shown. What a sad world we're living in. The title of song "亂紅, flowers in a riot of color" comes from a Chinese old poem called "蝶戀花, butterfly affair flower (translated word by word)". I believe this song is to descript the meaning of this poem. Basically this poem is talking about a lady's thought of living from young to old. Let me share the last two sentences of this poem with you.
      "淚眼問花花不語。亂紅飛過鞦韆去。"
      "Crying to ask flowers why but no words in return. Flowers in a riot of color just fall over the sway..."

      Major Singh Thx... but unluckily I m 'huaqiao' which means a Chinese outside China, and I've never been to... I m Buddhist and it makes India really interested... The persistent question I m finding answer is 'Why Buddha was an Indian?' 'Do average Indian people think in some similar way as Buddha and Ghandi think?' And I m really obsessed by Buddha and Ghandi... And really thanks India for its contribution to the world...

    • @rem2371
      @rem2371 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Win Min Tun Well, Gandhi and Buddha aren't the only ones who thought differently and offered the world broader perspectives on life. There were and still are intellectuals in India and everywhere else like Vivekananda (philosopher, social reformer), Tagore (poet/ political activist/ songwriter/ philosopher). And I think all cultures have intellectual figures.They all think with bigger visions and minds, but they think differently as well and that's what moves our understanding about the world further. We wouldn't go anywhere as a civilization if we all thought the same way, plus that's not how our minds work. They did have similar thoughts, such as one of the things they portrayed through their actions and writings is tolerance of diversity and thinking beyond the horizon. And I wish that we all got to view their examples and be inspired. There are songwriters around the world like Bob Dylan who write songs like "Times they are a changin", "Hard Rain's a gonna fall" and "Blowing in the wind", yet we face corruption, violence, hatred, mass poverty all the same, and that goes for India as well. It's not about thinking the same way as Buddha, Vivekananda, Tagore or Dylan, it's just about thinking in new and broader ways and doing something to realize the idea. These people shouldn't be referred to as the last ones or people in the dead past, time is still running. Plus I think it's worth to get to know more about all the other people around the globe who made a difference, not just Buddha or Gandhi. But we all have our favorite personalities I guess. Not only people, nature is awesome and just as inspiring too = ).

    Somehow this song reminds me of how fragile things are. The flute and piano seems to show the symbolic relationship between our own selves and that of those around us. Whilst the piano starts out by shaping our journey, we take on the form of the flute, steadily performing our own melody, simple, yet powerfully giving shape to the sheet that is yet to be written. Simple, yet so meaningful, if one just allows it to be.

    This music gives me chills. It's actually one of the few things I consider beautiful (in my life). I wish it was like back then in my middle ages and I would have been born in China, but with the small change in every folk's history, that people would not have ever learned about hate, arguements, mobbing, racism, agression to the others in general, but that never happened like this...
    The world looks so sad if you take a look and walk through your city, a school and a piece of nature for example. People don't even care about the way they threat each other, there only thoughts go to themselves. People are being hated and completly ignored, just for being different. Plus people are destroying the world. With technical progress we may also win awesome technologies we probably one use every single day, like I do with my Computer and Mobile Phone, but we take it for the price of uncompleted lives and broken hearts, but hey, we're okay!
    (((Were guns really necessary? Bombs? Every day people kill each other, but you know about war and I don't have to talk about that in detail now.
    I want to talk about the people besides that. First, we have people, that don't care about it or can't do anything against it, like probably all of us do. Second, we have people like politics and weapon traders, that make profit out of war and third, we have people that have to work to make that war run smoothly. Guys and children, wo have to create the latest weapons and bombs... but enough about war. I'm not really interested in talking about that right now, makes me sad.
    Let's take a look at companies. Nestlé is a big company for corn flakes and things to eat. Nobody really cares about the water they steal in third-world countries, got by paying for those water quells in Africa and the middle east.
    Apple produces mobile phones. I don't know, they actually may be good, I haven't tested them. But who cares if children in India and China work hard every day for the latest iphone? And that's not all! Of course we all support it every day with every company, but that's how has to be like. I guess that's the world. Some people may also work in unfair situations gor their entire lives. The product of our system I guess.
    But well, we can't change it...)))
    My life has always been hard for example. When I was a little child, I had many friends.
    Then we moved house when I was eight, because my sister was bullied there. In my country primary school takes four years. So I finished 4th grade there without any friends, cause that was always my problem as we moved house. On the other hand my sister had friends there (She was in the 6th grade).
    Then I went to grammar school, and there I only had 1 friend in the 5th grade too, but also he didn't care about me later on. I became worse and worse at school, I only finished 7th grade closely. But I became better, but my old problem stayed. I finished 12th grade succesfully but without anyone. When I was 18, I got myself a own little flat as soon as possible. Now I'm here, with a well-paid job and money, but no family or friends. I am webtexter btw. My mother and sister just rode the car all the day and were never at home, and my father always hit us and went crazy extremely quickly. And I don't have any contact to the rest, they always did like they wouldn't have known us. My familiy didn't give a shit about me.
    Well, let's just say life wasn't so kind to me, I never trusted to go out when I was little, fearing of being bullied, and now, I'm in the age of 23 and mostly at home too. I rarely go out to buy some food or go to the gym sometimes.
    I'm even thinking about commiting suicide sometimes, is the life worthy living if you have nobody?
    Well, that's been a short story about my life and perspective about some aspects of the world, I had to write some of the pain of my heart, at least for short; sorry for spelling- and grammar mistakes, English is not my native language tho.
    Thanks for reading and have and beautiful day, a beautiful week, a beautiful month, a beautiful year and a beautiful life!

      I know this comment was placed 2 months ago but I don't care please don't commit suicide even though I don't know I can't bare the thought of hearing people talk about committing suicide. I don't have much friends either I'm still in school though I had a lot of friends in kindergarten-2nd until j moved and then I had less friends in 3rd and when I got to about grades 4-5 I had about 2 friends left and as I moved again I had about 0 friends because I lost them to as soon at I came to 6th I gained friends and when I finished that year I now have very little friends even when I want to go to a friends house now they never answer their phone or another chatting system they have. I'm about to go on to 7th and I'm afraid that I'm going to lose more friends I have never have a lot of friends since kindergarten-1st and I forgot how to handle as much drama and I have never had a boyfriend because I'm that social anymore and because of all the bullying that's been happening at my school I'm almost afraid to go back to school. I have been bullied a lot in my life some times it was about little things but other times it was painful to go to school everyday 5 days a week. but seriously please I beg you don't committe suicide. sorry I started to ramble on about my life I didn't mean to.

    • @brickstonesonn9276
      @brickstonesonn9276 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      You do know that it was more racist back then. And wars were alot more common. Also the fact that there arent much medicine so your life expectancy is alot shorter. Theres definitely alot of benefits in living today. Life is not black or white/good or bad. Its always a bit of both.

    • @brickstonesonn9276
      @brickstonesonn9276 7 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      The world today looks sad if you look at sad things such as racism. But the world today looks amazing if you look at amazing things such as us stepping on the moon.
      The past is the exact same. It looks amazing if you look at things such as this video. But it also looks sad when you learn that they sold women for sex slavery.
      Yes wars today are alot more voilent. But its alot more uncommon because of it. In the past, going to war is a common thing to do. Also the fact that you dont have medicine.
      Look at nuclear bombs. They killed so many people in ww2. For the first time in history we have the option to kill our entire species. But because of it, the us, russia and other coutries fear that they might destroy our species. Because of this fear, nobody wants to go to war. Terrorism is a completely different story btw.
      Terrorism. It looks like the terrorist are evil people. But if they are placed a thousand years ago, they might be praised as heroes. What im talking about are the crusades. Alot of the coutries back then had terrorist oganizations that work for their countries. Every year there is a war going on. Torture are alot more brutal such as the bloody eagle. The vikings would literally cut your body in half, move your lungs and form an eagle shape out of it. Its fucking insane!
      Life is cruel to everyone it is just how it is. Without sadness there wouldnt be happines. You know, trees are most beautiful when their leaves turn red in the autumn. As the cold winter approaches, it would seem to be a great idea to conserve energy. But instead they do the opposite. They spend extra energy to defend themselves which causes their leaves to turn red. Its like the tree is saying "yes i am indeed dying. But not without a fight". Its fitting that the deepest and most beautiful colors come from not giving up too easily or too quickly.
      If a tree could deal with it, you should be able to do better. Life is like a game. You can lose and win at the game. To some people, pausing the game forever is the best option. Doing that will prevent you from losing the game or being hurt. But it will also prevent you from doing great things. So please carry on. And thanks for playing this game with me.
      Have a nice day!

    Honestly, this is what I call real Chinese music. And for this music really makes me think of what real old China is... However, if you think Chinese copied the Korean and Japanese culture. Then you are wrong. Actually for Korea and Japan.. Taiwan etc, a lot their traditional stuff and culture really isn't theirs. It's Chinese BTW but they just try to claim them as their own. In history, we mostly asians all originate from China. I'm sorry if you do not believe me. I really am. But this is just the truth.

    When your friend around you is in depression about his life and sleeping and you cannot say anything to him. that very moment ,one of the most wonderfl things you can do for him is to play a Chinese music like these softly. He will surely feel relaxed.

    西門外,古橋邊。臥雪街台,殘柳紅煙。幾曾柔腸寸斷,春緒百結。笛聲畔,孤客遠。縵縵雲山,潺潺落影。何欲望穿秋水,夢回千萬。

      拂青台,木门开。长歌依楼,几世悲欢。何以雪落千寒,红愁绿惨。锦微凉,窗影殘。翩翩霓裳,萧萧聚散。终是三生痴缠,烟消弦断。
