@@MidEngineering as it is so difficult to judge the centre of a broken bolt often I would plunge an undersize end mill and then go in the x and y till I saw the thread showing all around and then picked the thread ''"coil " out and then run a tap down to clear the hole. The but being every job is different.
This was very interesting to watch and very well timed as we need to drill out a broken bolt in a inlet manifold
Hopefully that won't be as rusty as this exhaust manifold!
