I 100% agree with changing how loot drops. I don't play realm at all atm but I stopped playing in big servers because if the goal is to NOT DIE I literally would just hit during the free phases and then not interact with the boss the rest of the fight. The game is so much more fun with 3 friends. Next time you see a sentry in a small realm go do with with a few of your buds and full clear it same with shatters it's so much fun but it feels so punishing. Like it's so hard to do o3 with just friends because you need the runes and if you clear an entire realm during the event and then 50 people flood in eh...

It shouldn't be based on damage dealt, but damage up time. If your risking your self consistently, you should be rewarded. This also makes it so good gear isn't required for good rewards.

Maybe like the % of boss damage you do divided in half would be the chance of getting another roll of the loot table or something. Something small enough to not break the game but still reward players. Or have like a secondary soulbound-like threshold for each class where it’s based on the % filled you got for that threshold. If a player has a class w a soulbound of 1000 damage they’d have a lootbound at say 15000 and their extra-roll chances would be what percent of that threshold they reached

revenge of the fallen was indeed popular because of that loot system, but also because pretty much every class was needed and there was a solid player economy and a marketplace where fame was the currency used. It was awesome and i miss it. Btw nice HPE seb!:)

i mean iirc to "get rich" the game was basically leeching in endgame dungeon simulator like asgard or TODD tho
@@thomasyang9517 nah cus you had to make a build that could do enough dmg to hit percentage, which resulted in many deaths which kept the economy fairly steady
